Its the weekend and one of the things i love doing is working with my needle.
After spending few hours working with my sewing machine, i was able to make a bag and a purse.

Below are some of the pictures i took.

This is a big needle of size 22, i choose this needle so that it can penetrate the leather and stitch well.

I like the pattern of the material you used and great job putting it together! I'm working on making some music videos and reading this weekend along with getting other chores done. How about you?

Oh wow, looking forward to seeing the music video you're working on, what are you reading on too, as for me i will take more time to rest this weekend, hangout with friends and practice some art works.

Nice. I'm currently reading book 2 of the Stormlight Chronicles by Brandon Sanderson. It's a very good fantasy series that my friend recommended me. Enjoy your weekend!

Hello @olaunlimited! Welcome to the NeedleWorkMonday Community!

It’s a very nice leather bag and purse set you have sewn. Is this the same bag you shared about in October of last year? If so I’m glad you also shared the mini purse this time to make your post a little different. Just a friendly heads up that reposting is looked down upon here on Hive so please keep that in mind.

Every week needleworkers from around the globe get together to share our work, patterns, tips, ideas and shortcuts as we support one another. Our goal is to inspire the Hive blockchain to give crafting a try.

On Monday’s we use the #needleworkmonday tag and on all other days we use the #needlework tag without the word Monday attached. We share and post our work directly from the Community page.

We encourage our members to share the process of their work through photos. This not only validates your work but it takes us along the creative journey with you. It is also a requirement upon joining the community that will enable your posts to have a chance at being featured in our weekly showcase :)

For more information about what we do and for our posting guidelines please visit our FAQs.

Thank you ~

Upon joining this community, I've been looking for more rules and guidelines after going through some already. And i've found your piece of informations very helpful.

However, this bag i made is for my lil sister, with the leftover materials, the square bag is one of my favorite designs, this one is a bit small compared to the one i made last October. I always give details of my craft work from start to finish, the same way i read and learn from peoples because i believe we all are helping each other.

I will make sure i give more details in my subsequent posts in this community.

Thank you, stay blessed

I'm glad you found my response helpful :)

That’s really good to hear because you are right, we all can learn from one another.

I hope I didn’t come at you too hard. We’ve been dealing with a lot of things (plagiarists, double posting etc.) from the leadership side and want to make it clear up front for newcomers the things that we don’t tolerate and what we expect upon joining Communities.

I appreciate you explaining about the bag. I’m looking forward to seeing more detailed posts from you ;)

Take care ~

Good thing, choosing the right needle is almost as important as the design and materials of the project.
