Golden Scarf

When I saw this lovely yarn on sale, I knew I needed a skein. My redheaded sister will look fabulous in this golden color. This is my go-to lace pattern for scarves:
Cast on a multiple of 3 stitches. Knit a few garter ridges. Begin lace pattern (k1, YO, k2tog) across. Continue until nearly out of yarn. Knit garter ridges as at beginning.
Sometimes I sew the edges together for an infinity scarf, sometimes I leave the scarf as a long rectangle. They make great gifts. If you don't have time to make one, check out my etsy store.

That is a beautiful color yarn and a great pattern! What kind of yarn is it? That is a pattern I could do while I am sitting and watching TV at night.
It is Lion Brand "Basic Stitch" pill-free yarn. Feels a lot like their "Heartland" but a tiny bit heavier.
