Hello to every great needle worker out there, i am sorry that i haven't really been active here for a long time, i have been trying to fix up some personal matters here and there.

A lot of things have been on my table lately and one of the most pressing of it is that I have been up trying to raise funds to help my friend enrolled in a catering school for a training and that has really been a major concern for me over the last few weeks. Well that is not what am here for.

I was to go for a class after church yesterday but I met a little resistance that would have stopped me from going to school yesterday if not for my thread and needle.

Materials used for the quick Stitch

  • Silver needle
  • White thread
  • Artist knife

This three was all I needed for the quick stitch before leaving for class.

Tolerance becomes your default life style when you have grown love for a particular thing over time.

It is always obvious how little holes grow in just split of seconds to become a mess. If you can recollect, i stitched this same trouser about some weeks ago but how come another major opening and this time in a very obvious place.

Though it took quite a little time doing the stitching work, finally it was worth the time spent and it made me more presentable compared to if I wore it turned.

Sometimes I don't even know the stitching method am using but I think what I did here was a straight line sowing.

By now a lot of us here should know that @eldecor likes using white thread to do his stitching and i think it makes much sense you know and yes it can go for any colour of clothe except black but on some special occasions, even black clothe accepts white thread as well.

The Process 1

  • Get all that is need for the stitching ready
  • Carefully and rightly insert your thread into the tiny needle hole.
  • If you are stitching a turned material, make sure you use the straight line stitching method so you can be sure of having a straight line stitching and endeavour that you follow the already made line.

The Process 2

  • Personally, I always do a front and back sowing to ensure that i will have a strong
    stitching

Just as you have seen in the image.

Now why I always use the front and back method of stitching is because I might not have the time again in the next couple of days to sit back and do the same thing i would have done better at first. So for you i you have all the time in the world, you could do it how you want it.

  • Always make sure that you confirm that you had tied up the thread to avoid the stitch loosening up in seconds.
  • Carefully cut off the excess of the thread so you will have a nice stitch and remember that needle workers are known for excellence every where they go so ensure that you have properly finished your stitching by using a good scissor to cut off the remains of the thread after stitching.

Out of the rush i couldn't even wait to look for my scissors and guess what I used an artist cutter to do the trimming.

And that is how i left for a class that was to start by 3:00pm at 3:20pm but all the same it was nice doing the right thing at the right time cause a stitch in time safes nine. Finally I left for the class.

Thanks so much for following and reading through my blog. I LOVE YOU.... YES YOU.
