An afternoon at Schliersee/Ein Nachmittag am Schliersee

I went for a walk again last week. Some would call it hiking, but for me such short trips in the mountains where you move around a bit are walks.
30 minutes away from where we live is Schliersee. It is a somewhat smaller lake, not far from Tegernsee. I prefer the Schliersee because it is not as crowded as the other lakes and you can still relax.

letzte Woche war ich wieder mal spazieren gegangen. Einige würden es wandern nennen, aber für mich sind solche kurze Reisen in den Bergen wo man sich da ein bisschen bewegt, Spaziergänge.
30 Minuten entfernt, von wo wir wohnen, liegt Schliersee. Es ist ein etwas kleineres See, nicht weit entfernt von Tegernsee. Ich bevorzuge den Schliersee, weil es ist nicht so stark besucht wie die anderen Seen und man hat noch seine Ruhe.

Ich mag entlang des Ufers zu spazieren und auf die Berge zu schauen. Es gibt noch Schnee wie man sehen kann, obwohl es am See fast 20 °C waren.

Wanted to enjoy the beer garden, which didn't work because everything is still closed because of Covid-19.
Wollte das Biergarten genießen, was nicht geklappt hat, weil alles noch alles zu ist, wegen Covid-19.
Luckily there are counters that offer cold beers to go and I was lucky that the beach wasn't locked.
Zum Glück gibt es Theken die kalte Bier zum Mitnehmen anbieten und ich hatte Glück, dass der Strand nicht zugesperrt war.
After the short break I went for a walk along the bank again. Here a duck almost touched me in its flight.
Nach der kleinen Pause, bin wieder entlang des Ufer spazieren gegangen. Hier hätte mich eine Ente fast berührt in ihrem Flug.
No matter where you go on the northern shore of the lake, you always have an idyllic view. The old boathouses definitely add to the charm.
Egal wo man am nördlichen Ufer des Sees geht, hat man immer ein idyllischen Blick. Die alten Bootshäuser tragen definitiv zum Charme.
Also wanted to walk around town a bit. There's a house here where a piece of the corner has been cut so that a walkway can be built. I'm just wondering if the structure is still okay because the traffic is causing major vibrations anyway.
Wollte auch durch die Stadt ein bisschen gehen. Hier gibt es ein Haus, wo man ein Stück von der Ecke geschnitten hat, damit man ein Laufweg bauen kann. Ich frage mich nur, ob die Struktur noch in Ordnung ist, weil durch das Verkehr kommt es sowieso zu größere Vibrationen.
When it was getting dark, I made my way to the car. Even the little ducks were preparing for the night.
Als langsam die Dunkelheit kam, habe ich mich auf dem Weg zum Auto gemacht. Selbst die kleinen Enten bereiteten sich auf die Nacht vor.
Did not go straight home, but even in the opposite direction to the Spitzingsattel to see the lake from above.
Bin nicht direkt nach Hause gefahren, sondern sogar in die entgegengesetzte Richtung bis zum Spitzingsattel um das See von oben zu sehen.
But this is a different story and will come back to it in another post.
