Cheese Fritters

Cottage cheese fritters can be a perfect evening snack to engage your digestive juices. Easy to make and a great combo with mint chutney and tea. Made these few days ago, so sharing a recipe here.
I took homemade cottage cheese and cut into desirable shapes.

Then made a yogurt dip by adding chilly flakes, salt (both as per taste), turmeric powder, dried fenugreek leaves and dry mango powder to the yogurt and mix well.These spices are easily available on any Asian shop.

Applied this dip between two pieces of cheese and keep them aside.
Now the coating- Took a cup of gram flour(chick pea flour) and added salt, chilly powder(as per taste), turmeric powder and all other spices which were added to yogurt dip. Added water and made a fine paste of flowing consistency.

Then dipped all the cheese pieces one by one in chick pea flour paste and coated them properly. Then took frying oil/ vegetable oil in a pan and heated it on high flame. When heated properly then lowered the flame to minimum.
Then added all the coated cheese pieces one by one and fried on low to medium flame for extra crisp. Enjoyed it with mint chutney and tea .
