Baking Funday on Sunday

Hello food lovers,

I had been planning on having a try at baking breads at home since long but was never sure. Yesterday, finally I tried it.

Activated the yeast(4 tsp) by mixing it in warm milk and sugar( 1 tsp). I took the same number of teaspoons of yeast as I took cups of wheat flour(4cups). Kept it aside for 6-7 minutes. Yeast was activated and was looking as below:

Mixed the yeast in flour and kneaded with lukewarm milk for about 10-12 minutes. I have used olive oil (1/2 cup) during kneading.

Kept the dough in a warm place covered with cling film for about 1 hour. It was beautifully fermented as below:

Split the dough in two parts: One part was rolled into buns and the second part was rolled like regular bread. Applied the melted butter and milk paste on both the doughs, covered with piece of cloth and again kept in warm place for another hour.
After this, the doughs were baked at 120C till cooked properly from inside. Both the breads looked as below and the aroma of freshly baked breads filled my kitchen.😋😋

Applied the butter again and covered both the breads with wet cloth for making it soft and kept aside for 10-15 minutes .
