How to Make Payes (পায়েস)~ dessert || Which is a part of Bengali tradition..

Each country has its own culture. It can be about clothes, movement, food or other matters. Similarly, Bangladesh has a thousand-year-old culture in various fields. In food, Bengalis have an old culture. Bengali means a food-loving nation. In Bengali families different types of food are prepared from time to time.

Such a traditional food is the" Payes".It is a kind of dessert. This food was made at any event or on the arrival of a guest.It is really a very tasty food and a very popular food at one time. At present the rate of making it has come down a bit. However, in many Bengali families, the tradition of this food is catch at.

Whatever ingredients you need to make this dessert

  • Sago
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Raisins
  • Cardamom
  • Cinnamon etc.

How to make the food

  • First take a certain amount of milk in a pot.
  • Then put the pot in the oven and heat the milk for a while.
  • Then add salt and sugar like quantity. Then pour the sago in the pot. Heat a while.
  • When the sago is a little soft, add some pieces of nuts, raisins, cardamom and cinnamon to the pan.
  • However, give all the ingredients in quantity. As if neither is more or less.

Interesting. Looks like porridge that I make out of oat, milk and maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon. I think I would enjoy Payes.
