Enjoying Rujak, Noodle, And Coconut Water While Looking At The Clear Sky And Beach

Hi there…
In this post, i want to take me to my memory lane.
This is from my experience when i had my trip to Aceh last month.
I went to a few city, one of them is Lhoksumawe.
The reason why i went there is because its my friend’s hometown.
Not only that, she has many friends there, even her boyfriend lived there.
So i thought, why not visiting Lhokseumawe.
Especially because its on the way back to my city anyway.
Well then…
I will share one of the place that my friends took me too while i was in Lhoksumawe.
The name of the place is Ujong Blang, its a beach in there.
We went there not to play with the water, of course, but to enjoy Rujak with the beach view.
Such a perfect way to spend our time hang out with our friends.
Its fun even if we dont do many things and just sit and enjoy the time.

First of all, let me show you what our view looks like.
Isnt it nice?
We decided to go there in the morning, around 10 a. m.
Because at the time, the weather is not hot and there will be less people in there.
The sky is still very blue and clear.
Blue sky with blue water, such a peaceful view.
Me and my friends ended up not have much talking and just staring at the view.
Anyway, we avoided to go there in the evening, as its another good option to go there since the weather will be cooler and not hot.
But evening means many people will be there especially since its people’s after work time.
Since its still pandemic, my motto is always have fun yet be safe.
So crowded place is no no.
Especially from what i saw, people there mostly didnt wear mask.
So i worried a lot if my health and safety.

This is what the seating area looks like.
The chair and the table is made of wooden, making the whole vibe more close to the nature.

This is what the place looks like in the front.
The name of the place is QSO.
There’re many other places to eat but my friend recommend me this one so we decided to go and eat in here.

And here is my friends.
I am very thankful for them because they accompanying me for days and because of them too i can have a log of fun during this trip.
I think that i laugh a lot.
Lately i had a lot of worry and sadness in my heart.
Though i know runaway from our feelings is never the right answer, but i think that during those mentally escape i can prepare my heart to be even stronger when i wake up.
Good friends is always such a big treasure and gift from God.

This is their menu.
Their menu is pretty simple like this.
But they have quite variant of food and drink.

Now, to the main point of the writing.
I will show what did I order;

• Noodle

I dont have any plan to eat noodle.
Me and my friend already had breakfast in our hotel.
What we had for breakfast that day was rice, so its pretty heavy.
We thought that when we went there we will just eat rujak and drink coconut water.
But boy, when we went to our table, on the way i saw another customer eating noodle.
Its just looks so delicious and i cant resist the urge to eat the noodle.
I ended up ordering them.
I asked them to be wet, not with soup and not fried either.
I asked my noodle to be firm and not soggy too.
Another thing that i asked is for my noodle to be spicy.
They can make everything on my list except the spicy one.
I was kinda disappointed because i cant enjoy food if its not spicy.
I asked for more chili sauces but its not even spicy so the sauce is not add any spiciness to my noodle.
Nonetheless, the taste of the noodle is still very good.

• Rujak or Mixfruit

This is the main reason why we went to QSO.
I asked my rujak to be sliced to pieces and then the bumbu to be spicy.
The fruit is still very fresh and thankfully they able to make this rujak to be spicy even though my noodle is not.

• Coconut Water

If we went to see the beach, it will not be complete without coconut water.
Do you have the same ritual in your area too?
But i love drinking coconut water since it makes our body feels so fresh.
