Tomato Soup with Breadcrumbs Recipe

Rainy season kind of brings back the memories. And so I made the tomato soup and the breadcrumbs with it. I thought I should share the recipe for the same too.

Here's the final output of the recipe.

Recipe:

  1. Take a pan and add the butter, garlic, sliced onion and tomato into the pan.
  2. Saute and a bit till it changes the color.
  3. Add atleast 2-4 sliced tomatoes puree into the mixture. Make sure to smash them while you stir.
  4. Add salt to taste. Also take 2 tbsp sugar into the same mixture.
  5. Simmer this mixture on the low heat for the 10 to 20 minutes.
  6. Keep stiring till the mixture is thick. Then add 1/2 cup water.
  7. Now once the mixture gets thick keep the pan aside.
  8. Take another pan and now add some water into it and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  9. Now add the corn flour into it and let the mixture get thick.
  10. Add some tomato puree that we just made in another pan.
  11. Make sure to add pepper, paprika, pinch of turmeric.
  12. Stir the mixture and make sure to see the thickness as you want for soup.
  13. Add water and boil as you please.
  14. Add tablespoon of cream and mint or corinader leaves at the top.

Breadcrumbs Method:

As for breadcrumbs. I made sure to keep the breadcrumbs into the fridge and then got them fried like normal oil in pan. Nothing specific about this recipe as it involves plain frying of the breadcrumbs.
