Make hay when the sun shines

After lots of rain in recent weeks, this past week has been excellent, with some lovely sunny spells and what better thing to do, than break out the barbecue.

So that's exactly what we did. We had butcher style sausages, big juicy quarter pounders and marinated chicken chunks.

These were all washed down with a few nice cold beers. I actually forgot to take some action cooking shots. Truth be told, I was busy playing football with my kids while watching the food, a much more important task to be fair.

Halfway through my burger, I did think about it mind you, and took a few shots!
