:) Utah is the correct answer for this Bee, quite fascinating how that build their own little home holes

Congratulations to @ph1102! :)

This bee (which I believe is the Anthophora pueblo) has been found in Utah, southwest Colorado, and the Death Valley area of California. So it travels a bit as well ;) 🐝

And @ph1102 wins again! Congrats, Z! :)

The species, dubbed Anthophora pueblo, has been found in Utah, in southwest Colorado and in Death Valley in California, where it pocks vertical sandstone rock faces with tiny holes.

Amazing infos on bees indeed!
Running late as I catch up on stuff. Fell asleep earlier longer than intended LOL :))

Congratulations @ph1102

The bee expert, @pixiepost, says they are in Utah and she gets her information right from the bees that deliver her pixie dust so she should know.

Congrats @ph1102!!

"This hard work appears to pay off, however, by providing the bees greater protection from the vagaries of life in the desert Southwest. The species, dubbed Anthophora pueblo, has been found in Utah, in southwest Colorado and in Death Valley in California, where it pocks vertical sandstone rock faces with tiny holes. Though the bees seem to be solitary nesters, they build these rocky alcoves next to one another, like insect apartment-dwellers."
