Never Be Afraid To Be YOU!

In 2020, we as a society crave the truth and rarely get it. It's imperative that we continue to be truthful to who we are. I really think that's the most effective way to developing both personally & professionally.

Here are my thoughts on this topic and a bit of how I got my inspiration to do this video. It's a bit rambly so I apologize in advance. :D

Check out the two videos I reference in my video. They are well worth the watch!
Jon & Blain on Thursday Night Live

I think this is spot on. Really authentic, as it were.

I think you nailed it exactly. You thought you were rambly, but I really appreciate how you get to the point. I'm not very good at long videos because, attention span. So I really appreciate your vids.

Most of us are pretty crappy actors
Amen to that!

This means my Lambo and house on the beach and boat aren't in the mail?

Thanks Janelle! Another great post.

BOOM! Exactly!! It is so true - when you're authentic, you go with your creative flow & attract much more positive results. And you are right - we are gravitating more towards "real" people; not the posers or wannabes.

Thank you for the shout out! :) Much appreciated. Keep up your awesome content! :) 💙🤗

You know the thing is, almost everyone does. And honestly I think that's okay. I certainly don't sit up here at 36 claiming to have everything figured out. The key is to keep working towards figuring it out.

But if you make blog posts or videos, the message I guess I was trying to convey is to be sure that you're talking about something that you love that helps you be honest. Don't pretend to like something just to get the sale. If that makes sense. I really appreciate you commenting and it's good to see you again :)

I can't say anything regarding affiliate marketing stuff... what was real, and what was fake...

But I can say that in content creation, trying to be something that you aren't (even at the beginning of doing it... when you search "your thing"... when you are afraid...) is very tiresome and hard...

But when you start to be yourself it's actually liberating... And it starts to be easy and natural... That is what we should have to reach, and then we are on a good path...

Great post! Thanks for sharing!

It's extremely liberating. I think perhaps I should have spoken on the fact that..none of it is easy. It's hard to be yourself, when we're face with insecurities or fears of not being accepted or being enough. Perhaps I need to talk more on it in another video. It's very liberating, you are right. Thank you for your comment :) Always.

It took me a long time but I am finally more accepting of who I am. You have to accept yourself before you can expect people to accept you.

Yes. You definitely need to accept yourself. I think that's part of the process for sure. I am glad to hear you're making progress with that. In the short while I've known you, you seem really genuine and I'm happy to have met you :)
