Ecency is one of the apps I use a lot and it has certainly replaced my usage of Facebook. There was a time when I was using Facebook like this but now its Ecency.

I like Ecency as well. I never had facebook so can't compare from that point of view.

It's pretty solid. I use it myself, and while I was a huge fan of Partiko back on the previous chain, Ecency has really stepped up!

The only social media that I used was LinkedIn. I stopped using it when I retired. I only occasionally check that app anymore. Now I am using CTPTalk and PeakD for non-CTP postings. I added Ecency to my phone so I can check the postings on the go.

I did stop playing Vikings War of Clans in my spare time and switched over to Splinterlands. I am hooked on Splinterlands now.

Being introduced to this blockchain overall has been an extreme change for my business in general. The social aspect has replaced allot of my traditional social media, and as we grow, it will all pretty much be replaced with all Web 3!

Ecency is awesome to check on Hive on the go through mobile!
3Speak is another that I use a lot for uploading my video posts. It's been a long while since the last time I uploaded videos on Youtube!
I miss Appics a lot but it was a good Instagram substitute!
I also use the Exxp plugin to connect my WordPress Blog posts to Hive, it's also a little cool thing to use.
And that's what I can come up with for now...there are so many things you can do here that can keep you away from the traditional!
But don't stop using the traditional, use them to promote Hive 😋

I'm so disappointed in Appics. What an amazing app and such huge potential. I'm sure there move to Telos will be a success, but they just abandoned their APX holders, I don't know what's happening with our APX on Steem Engine. Zero communication, I've been trying to reach them on Twitter for months now...No response. What a shame...

I think I managed to sell everything and turn into HIVE so I guess it was a good call.

I really like using PeakD for creating and editing blog posts on Hive. It makes the process very easy.

I think peakd probably is where I spend most my time. I do not know if it has replaced other social media for me or if I just stopped looking at everything but twitter.

I am still trying to figure out where my nich is for my own business. started a few and never really went anywhere. Blockchain maybe a good place for me Just have not found the place yet.

I think you have a passion for sports man...That's such a huge untapped niche I think...Blogging, live talk shows, forums...All of that can be handled on chain for sure.

Or just be like me and think about Splinterlands all day LOL

For me, it's been @threespeak

I was never a fan of YouTube and didn't even bother building much of a brand on it. But always knew how powerful video was...3speak fit me like a glove because it allows me to publish my content but having it on chain is just a huge win!

Obviously I'm a fan boy of everything on Hive, but 3speak gets my vote!

Great concept, will definitely add to this

peakD was fast becoming my replacement tool for any social media platforms that I was previously taking part in.
Having said that I didn't really take part in any social media but was becoming very addicted to posting in Peak D,
after having had a break for a few months now, I suspect I will become just as addicted.
3 Speak was a tool I used to enhance my peak d experience
Give me another couple of weeks back in the game and I will be able to answer this question more thoughtfully
