Hunting For Luke? - How To Get Started

So after helping a fellow Hiver with no background in affiliate marketing get started hunting for Luke today I have decided to make a guide for this.

ClickTrackProfit And Start Earning Today

The first step is of course to get a ClickTrackProfit account, and we will also look at Start Earning Today since if you don't already have a list of your own set up, then this is the next best thing to building your own list with the traffic you get here, that being said your goal should always be to build you list first, and the training in CTP shows how to do that, now this is what you do.

1. Sign up with your name and email, and create a username at ClickTrackProfit.
2. Go to your email and find the confirmation email that you have been sent, it might have ended up in your spam folder so look closely.
3. Click the confirmation link in that email, and this will take you to a page where you will create your account password, so create that and save it in a safe place.
4. Now login to your new account, and open the menu, if on a mobile it will show as a hamburger button up in the right corner.

6. Click on Affiliates, and then on Settings.

Here you will add your Uphold wallet email address, which is used to pay your affiliate commissions, and you can withdraw to crypto if you want from them, and also add the Affiliate Name that you want to use on ClickTrackProfit, preferrably the same as your username to make it easy, and save it all.

9. After that scroll down all the way and sign the affiliate agreement with your initials.

11. Now your account is ready to be used, and from here you once again open the menu and click on Tools, then Funnels and then on Start Earning Today.
12. Here you add the Affiliate ID's for the programs that is in this marketing funnel, and do note that the Brave affiliate program is on hold so if you don't already have an account there you will have to leave that part empty, and when all filled in click on Update Affiliate ID's.

14. Once that is done you will get the affiliate link to Start Earning Today with your affiliate ID, copy that link and save it, and you might also want to sign up to check it out for yourself, so you know what you are promoting, and maybe even learn something new.

16. Now you are fully signed up to ClickTrackProfit, and you have something to promote in the traffic exchanges.

Start A Scavenger Hunt

A Scaveneger Hunt is what the surfing for Luke is called, and you do this by surfing ads in different traffic exchanges (TE), and this is how you start and what you need to do to set up your ad.

1. Once again open the menu in ClickTrackProfit and click on Xtra's and then on Scavenger Hunt and then click the green Go button, this will take you to the map.
2. On the map you will see a lot of dots for each country, and on one of those dots you will also see Luke, so click on Luke.
3. That will open up a frame with a banner and show some stats including how many pages you need to surf to find Luke at that location.
4. Click the banner, and this will take you to the first traffic exchange where you will find Luke.
5. If you are not yet signed up to that TE, then sign up using your name and email, and make a username and password, plus confirm it by clicking the link in the email they will send you, and then login.
6. Once logged in go to Sites, or Ads, or Site Ads or something similar, and this is where you will add your affiliate link to Start Earning Today.
7. You just paste it into the correct field, and also give it a name, and then click on save, and here is how this looks in CupOfTraffic.

9. Once you have clicked on Add it will first do some tests to make sure the link is working and not doing something ugly, and after that you click on Confirm and then ad is saved.
10. Then go to Auto Assign, and assign at least the minimum percentage to assign auomatically to your ad, and this is once again how that looks in CupOfTraffic.

12. Now you are ready to start surfing the ads in the traffic exchange, so click on Surf or View Ads or what it's called in the particular TE that you are in, and here is how it looks in SeaLifeHits.

14. This will take you to the surfing view, which looks like this in SeaLifeHits, and this is on a mobile by the way.

16. For each ad that you view you also need to complete a simple Captcha to go to the next one, usually a match the pictures kind looking like this in SeaLifeHits which you see after the timer has counted down.

18. You continue to surf the ads until you find Luke who will show up as one of the ads, and you then need to add your ClickTrackProfit username to the field to claim that you found him.
19. Now you have found Luke 1 time, which gives 1 ticket for the daily drawing in the #LukeIsAlive contest, and do remember to take a screenshot of finding Luke to include in your post about your hunt, plus make sure that your post has a minimum of 50 words to count.
20. If you want you can find Luke up to 5 times to complete the Scavenger Hunt, each time that you claim him you will also be shown what TE that you need to visit next, completing the Scavenger Hunt earns you 6 tickets for the daily drawing, and there is also more ways to earn up to 12 tickets in a day, check the Luke Is Alive Community for that.

One final thing though is do not try to cheat the system when surfing, the person I helped get started today had some trouble finding the Captcha and ended up opening the surf bar in 2 browsers, and then when he did find the Captcha he surfed both browsers at the same time and got suspended from the TE, the Captcha is just the visible part to see that you are a human, there is also other metrics that is looked at.
