Human Focus

I read somewhere that humans evolved from chimpanzees because of the need to throw projectiles at targets. I understand life better through the bible. But I also like to perceive the world through the eyes of a scientist. So, we evolved from chimpanzees who sometimes in their upset state throw objects in a very unorganized manner.

While we developed this ability to throw objects it became necessary for us to expose our vulnerable parts to the world. Humans are the only animals that have their abdomens facing the outside world. It was a tradeoff. For projectiles to have enough force there was a need for passive extension of the extremities. Well stretched out lower limbs give the perfect balance for the recoil of the projectile and well spread out arms provide momentum for the projectile.

In addition to the anatomical changes of the appendages were those changes in the eye and the brain. The human eye can focus maybe not as good as a bird of prey but it is sharper than that of the other mammals.
According to a 20th-century myth humans share 98% of their genome with chimpanzees. New research done about a decade ago showed that this myth was true. The most important part of the differences were the genomes encoding for cell division and that gave rise to the human brain.

The human focus grew from hunting animals to less physical entities especially as the brain grew bigger. The focus was no longer on what was present in front of the human but the results of his actions. It was at this point that man started to gather food and share food. Because time had shown humans that actions of today could affect tomorrow. Focus began to have another meaning.

Today the focus of humans has evolved into many forms. Going back to projectiles. The way we stand when we want to shoot a gun, throw a punch in boxing, throw javelin and shotput are very similar. It's all designed to maintain balance as the object leaves or sends its recoil back.

But enough about vision when your eyes are open. Even when your eyes are closed you still see. You still imagine visuals and that is why the cavemen evolved. It was less and less of what was expedient. More and more of the future. The further into the future you can see and run towards the more successful you will be…at least if that future is a realistic one, then you can make it happen.

From what I've gathered it seems, for you to evolve, you have to focus on the greatest good you can think of and align yourself to reaching that target.
