El Gran espíritu del bosque es una criatura de mucho valor en la historia de la Princesa Mononoke, de Studio Ghibli, porque es un espíritu que representa a la naturaleza desde la esencia más pura. Él se encarga de cuidar a todos las especies que forman la naturaleza, de que esta prevalezca ante cualquier amenaza. Su apariencia no es definitiva, en primera instancia se muestra como un animal, pero luego libera su ser espiritual.
The Great Forest Spirit is a creature of great value in the story of Studio Ghibli's Princess Mononoke, because he is a spirit that represents nature in its purest essence. He is in charge of taking care of all the species that make up nature, so that it prevails in the face of any threat. His appearance is not definitive, at first he appears as an animal, but then he releases his spiritual being.

El primer paso para realizar este maquillaje es aplicar una base de maquillaje en el rostro y pecho.
The first step to perform this makeup is to apply a foundation on the face and chest.
Seguidamente, empecé con el diseño desde la frente aplicando sombra roja en dos triángulos dibujados en la parte superior, y con sombra color blanco pinté la frente y el tabique de la nariz.
Next, I started with the design from the forehead applying red shadow on two triangles drawn on the upper part, and with white shadow I painted the forehead and the septum of the nose.
Con delineador negro maquillé las cejas de forma recta y tracé una línea en cada costado del tabique de nariz, contorneando la sombra blanca aplicada.
With black eyeliner I made up the eyebrows in a straight line and drew a line on each side of the nose septum, outlining the white shadow applied.
Para los ojos apliqué sombra blanca y realicé un delineado con sombra azul en el parpado inferior. En la zona de las mejillas ruboricé con un tono rojo y con sombra azul celeste realicé tres líneas en cada mejilla.
For the eyes, I applied white eye shadow and applied blue eyeliner on the lower eyelid. On the cheek area I blushed with a red tone and with light blue shadow I made three lines on each cheek.
Para finalizar el diseño maquillé los labios con tinta roja en la unión interior de los labios y difumine un poco con sombra roja sin llegar a la linea del labio. En la zona del pecho dibujé la representación espiritual del Gran espiritu del bosque y la pinté con sombra azul celeste difuminada con azul rey, además le hice unos arabescos con delineador negro.
To finish the design I made up the lips with red ink in the inner corner of the lips and blurred a little with red shadow without reaching the lip line. In the chest area I drew the spiritual representation of the Great Spirit of the forest and painted it with light blue shadow blended with royal blue, I also made some arabesques with black eyeliner.
