Chelsea outclassed Atletico Madrid at the Stamford Bridge

it was a sensational night at the Stamford Bridge as Chelsea pocketed Atletico Madrid in the round 16 of the Uefa Champions league competition. Chelsea beat them with 2-0 with goal coming from Hakim Ziyech and Emerson Palmeiri. the first leg was not as cool as this second leg because Chelsea plays with a lot of determination, Despite not Having Mason Mount and Frello Jorginho that took a very important role in the first leg winning available.

The beginning of the game was tense as Atletico Madrid played well for around 3 minutes while I hope it will be so difficult for Chelsea to keep up with the 1-0 aggregates but Chelsea never rushed with them and played a very calm game. Chelsea operates everywhere around the pitch and never limit the playing to a particular person. the first goal come from a crossing from Atletico Madrid in to Chelsea box but Kante intercepted and pass the ball to Kai Havertz who took the ball and gave a final pass to Timo Werner who later made an assist as Ziyech give us a lead in the first half.

through the first half Atletico Madrid players played aggressively while Chelsea lay low in order not to forfeit their qualifying as they already took the lead. the second half was cool and I was so impressed with the way the Chelsea team played, all of them performed so well but in the defense I could say Antonio Rudiger performance was the best while Kante, Kovacic and Kai Havertz played the midfield so good.

Emerson who scored the last goal has not been given a lot of playing time, he was substituted For Marcos Alonso in the 93 minutes and scored the second goal which gives Chelsea a clear victory. the draw for the next round will be done Tomorrow and its likely to be a big Challenge Chelsea will be facing.
