The Engagement League
This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here - including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks.
I've used some metrics relating to:
- Posts (P)
- Comments - number of (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (C R)
- Comments - length in characters (C L)
- Witness votes (W) (for those proxying witness votes, your total is always 30)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (U V)
- Self-votes - a small minus score for this one, sorry! (S V)

Oh no, I didn't make the list this week ;( I need to engage on Steem more I suppose. Too much discord and other apps I guess.
Damn discord took you away from the Steem, I think that and twitter are the main reasons for reduced engagement for many.
If I had to second another guess, I would say it was BTC and the other cryptocurrencies waking up a little. I, like others who have been hodling some throughout the freeze had to talk to the communities to rebalance my holdings or whatever.
Hi Asher. Good to see everyone here and doing well. I am bouncing in between the colored lines each week and have to get lucky again soon. Topped the curation for the first time which is pretty cool.

I have been fairly lucky and the raindrops are drying up as it rained for about 2 days and has already changed.I got lucky on 2 which were big payouts during the week and have been my highest yet. They were upvoted by Oracle-d.

Seriously, looks like another fun week, with @tattoodjay deciding not to leave any question about who’s #1. If I were him, I’d be keeping a close eye on @tarazkp though. If taraz ever chooses to focus his mind and “flying fingers” on commenting vs. posting, then he would likely make some of @janton’s old scores look small by comparison …
Also nice to see @delishtreats back up high on the list. Apparently she has some more time available, while she is waiting for positive developments in getting her new restaurant up and running.

It will happen gradually and in my opinion we are watching some ground breaking developments on Steem Blockchain which will going to push the engine of Steem Blockchain effectively.
Yes the figures are much improved on last week for comment count and word length, happy about that :)

Nicely done for starters. I think it does take a couple of weeks to work out what's required to place highly. Will be checking up next time :)
I had to scroll up to make sure this was today's post. It's impossible that I'm up so high in the list. I had a really slow week - or so I thought.
In 4th place with a score of under 10k... those numbers have dropped quite a bit, if I'm not mistaking.
That would mean engagement level has gone done a whole lot, which is actually not really good news...
Any idea how come?

I play with the scores a little at times so I wouldn't look at those - they are just for the placings. The comments and comment length is up on last week, but of course nothing like it was a year or so ago.

I am somewhat surprised to see I was still number 18 two week in a row, I guess it was because of the hoop-la over a couple of the EIP post. Really if people want more curation rewards they should study the curation league leaders, they seem to be pretty consistent.
It will be nice when the price of steem becomes a little bit more stable at a higher price, it seems no matter how much I power up, how many steem monster cards I sale, I just can not get back to a four cent vote. Oh well there is the future,
Thank you Asher for the no self vote steem, that will of course be added to the SP vote pool of mine and it will aid in getting me back to that four cent level.
I think that next winter people will be very happy with the price of steem, at least I hope by winter it is doing better.

Yeah everyone is in the same boat, remembering what their vote used to be like 50 cents, 1 dollar, and something like 4/5$ for me at the highs - damn!
I do hope that in the coming months there is some sort of a revival, $1 would be nice for starters.
I was a noob during the ATH and still my vote was almost a quarter at the time. I would be so excited if it was that high now and I have lots more SP.
