Follow the Pattern, or Obey to Big Daddy

I was watching a few days ago a video on the internet by ScottTheTruckDriver where his topic was how YouTube treats video creators on their platform. How many authors struggle to comply to YT rules, just to survive there and to not be banned, "striked" or whatever term is used on YT...

Generally, I don't have a problem with that as I have started with video creation just lately and I have no large base of subscribers there... And, in the end, I don't publish much on YT as I'm more focused on alternative websites as 3Speak, D.Tube, or LBRY...

But, it is important to know what are the consequences of YouTube pressure on publishers. Why do you subscribe to someone's channel? Usually, we are doing that because we like someone's personality or it's creating style... As more and more things are forbidden to speak on YT, and earnings are less and less, to survive, publishers are forced to create content that is "YouTube like-able"... the content that attracts more sponsors, more ads, more revenue...

And the result is that certain authors lose authenticity, personality and create the same videos over and over again... And, as Scott noticed, they become YT slaves... The real voice is lost and we can see only what YT wants that we see... Same pattern everywhere...

I had a similar experience with my "creation process" in high school, and I don't want to be a modern slave... You can check out the video for more about that...

That's why it is important to support new technologies, blockchain apps, de-centralized solutions...

Support small businesses and solutions and turn on your brain!

Thanks for a great video @ph1102, and very interesting example you took with yourself, and your experience with conformity, a trait that if it becomes the norm in society stifles creativity and innovation, and yes Youtube is all about conformity, which is why we need alternatives like Dtube and Steem, keep up your great work, it's awesome.
