Goals and Accomplishments

I have a strong desire to achieve at internet/affiliate marketing. However, I must first set my goals and give myself a deadline. As Napoleon Hill said “A goal is a dream with a deadline”. Well I think the problem is that I haven't set a deadline and I haven't written it down.
As I was reading quotes from Napoleon Hill I found so many that I need to apply and made me wonder, 'is this why I haven't made it to where I like to be?'
My main goal is to make $5,000 per month in the next 3 years. I would like to be making $1,000 within the next 6 months. I believe these are very attainable goals.
I will return to this topic soon when I have a clearer direction of my objectives and how I plan to reach my goals. I know what I want but I need to work on my direction to achieve these goals.

Goals do set a target that we need to achieve, and thanks for sharing your goals and the advice you found about it @successchar, and looking at your goals I would say that reaching $1000 per month in 6 month is attainable if you already make $100 per month, but if you reach $1000 then getting to $5000 in 3 years seems a bit low, but that is just me, keep up your great work and stay awesome.
