Noob Look at Crypto Market

avatar

I would like to start some weekly series about crypto markets, investing, news, etc... Just to clarify things at the beginning... I'm not an expert and I'm very often wrong about a lot of things, but I will try to look in an objective way in the past week and crypto markets that I follow.

Yesterday, my good friend @gadrian wrote a post about his STEEM purchase and I have answered him in the comments that I have decided NOT TO buy more STEEM... I said that in a manner that I will work more here on the chain and EARN that STEEM in a hard way... But, I kept my promise a little over 24 hours.... loool... I have bought a small amount just to survive the day... But, c' mon... STEEM price is around 17 cents!!! Who can blame me for my weak hands? :)

Besides that, I have decided to swap some of my ETH to BTC... There are some rumors that BTC can't go under 10K... I mean, it can, but the majority of the crypto-people have an attitude that BTC "deserves" to be at least 10K... and over the past few days, it is very quiet around 10-10.5K... So, the only way is up! :)

Regarding Steem-Engine tokens, there are no big up-down moves in tokens that I personally follow. DEC was flying high over 0.00630, but now it's about 0.00540 STEEM per DEC. ClickTrackProfit CTP token is still very stable and it fluctuates around 0.067 STEEM per CTP. It has low volume, but for a new token, it's doing great. We have new tokens on the market called Lifestyle Token, so check them out!

Splinterlands (former Steem Monsters) have broken their ATH market cap! It's the best game on blockchain ever built and it looks that they want to stay on the top of the list!

And for the end, I would like to share with you one joke that @athomewithcraig told us on the best Discord server out there called SteemSavvy...

Why make of car won't bitcoin users drive?

I have been reluctant to buy steem because of the falling prices so I bought splinterland cards instead. They have quite stable prices and are not linked to steem decline. However there is an inner voice that tells me to buy steem now. I think some of these cards are gonna be sold ;-)

I'm also buying Splinterlands cards regularly... Most of them for leveling up, but not rarely for trading also..

Looking at the steem price, down, it can be very tempting to buy more and more because when the price goes up, it will be great
