No Excuses for Not Showing Up! Staying Consistent! Yay Me ;-)
Hello! Hope you've had a great Monday! I am really late today and to be honest it wasn't easy to show up today! My Dad had an appointment with his eye specialist this morning. The hospital is an hour's drive from us. Silly me, I thought we would be out of there and home close to one because his appointment was at 10:30. So I didn't take my laptop with me. All that time we were waiting around I could have been working. We didn't get on the road to come home till almost 2:30. My parents felt sooo bad. Not their fault. Did our best to reinforce that. After we dropped them off at their home and headed back here to our apartment this afternoon I was thinking to myself how much I didn't want to get on my computer and start working. But here I am because I know that consistency and showing up everyday is super important! No Excuses! Besides, my husband was driving so I can't even use that excuse of being tired from driving. And it was a nice bright sunny day so I got some Vitamin D!
So, this is going to be a short post today! Just a check in! Enjoy the rest of the day or evening where ever you are in the world. See you tomorrow.
Smartphone, notepad app and you are good to go! When you come home, create a blog post from that and voila!
I was ignoring my smartphone for years... But today, I'm doing almost 50% of things on my phone
I've just read your comment after posting mine about using a smart phone. Do you post on CTP Talk from your smart phone?
I'm not... But, that doesn't mean that I can't :)
I'm recording videos in outdoors, edit them, create images in Canva, and prepare everything for the post... Dictate to the phone sometimes (it converts into text)...
and when I come home, just copy/paste everything on my laptop and publish it!
But, I'm using eSteem to check replies, mentions... respond to the comments, etc... You can create posts through eSteem... just put "ctp" tag and it will show up on ctptalk.. ;)
Thanks Zoltan! It must be a generational thing. I do way more on my laptop than on my phone because I can see more easily on my laptop. I check stuff on my phone but I usually prefer doing work on my laptop. I need to adapt.
Yes, it is... I was exactly like you, just a few months ago... But we have to change and adapt!

Well done Lisa! I had to chuckle because my last post was really a long excuse about why I'd not posted on CTP Talk for a day or two! You've got me thinking about trying to access CTP Talk through my cellphone when I'm out all day...
