Stepping Out Of The Box To Fix Gmail!

Ken Wolff @kenwolff here with some tips on regaining storage space in our GMail Account.

Yesterday I got this notice ... "Your storage is almost full (98%)"

My GMail Account is about out of storage space and caused me to step out of the box to fix it. It is a work in progress. I spent a good share of my day yesterday working on it and there is a ways to go.

It is not surprising as I have 2,141,336 unread emails in my inbox. I have created a lot of files for the different emails and so this is what I am doing. I started at the bottom as they are in alphabetical order. Any file that has more than 100 emails I would first read about seven of them, collect the credits for doing that, open the safelist site that the email came from and then delete all of the rest that are in that file. I would then go back to that safelist site and send out an email to my randomly selected friends.

Well this is getting kind of long so I will get back to deleting emails and sending out that email to many of my friends out there in the safelist comminity. Hope this helped you and gave you an idea of what to do if you get millions of unread emails in your inbox.
