Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys... or at least smarter... so they think!!

My #2020 Vision video is taking FOREVER to upload so I decided to write about a great Steem debate that I had with my son today over lunch. ..Spoiler Alert I WON!
There is nothing better than your adult child recognizing that your day is going less than perfect and taking the initiative to try to make it better. And yes, Taco Bell Monster Nachos definitely make it better!!
During our lunch together we began to talk about Steem. I told him Steem would be a great place to showcase off his talents, which are playing the guitar and playing video games. He told me Steem did not have a live streaming platform and that was how he wanted to develop his audience. I quickly went to our trustworthy discord and made sure I was correct. I was promptly answered back by @ph1102! He reminded me there was Vimm.tv and soon to be 3speak.online, which both offer live streaming! I explained to Hayden, my son, he could live stream AND be rewarded for all the content that he created AND on all feedback he received!
Ouch, young man, it hurts to be wrong! Well, my son quickly stated that he was not so much interested in making money for his work, but just being true to his passion. Oh, OK, young chap!
I was unsure whether to ask him to move out, so he could see how quickly his "passion" may not pay his bills or to embrace that he really does have the correct mindset.

We should be working each day living our passion. We should be moving towards a life where doing what we love is how we make a living.
Our passion(s) should be our main priority. If we chase our passion we will never work a day in our lives. So my question to the people here on CTPTalk...
What is your passion? Are you living your passion or is your hobby? IF you aren't living your passion is there something you could do differently so that your passion becomes your daily job? Let's hear it!!

LOL, that's what I told my son. I protested, but his thoughtfulness won out and I decided to enjoy them and enjoy a great debate with him!

hehehe... great story, Jenna... Thanks for the mention... But, you are aware that 2 adults can't be smarter than a kid :)

Mine is also playing games and I had a similar conversation few days ago... As I', also playing Splinterlands and Holy Bread on STEEM, I'm poking him every time with: "How much did you earn in your game?" :P

But, the answer is similar to your kid... "he is getting pleasure and joy with playing, so money isn't important" :)

I will always remember the days when they were babies and then toddlers... but nothing beats when they become adults and you see a semi-finished product trying to figure the world out. We can no longer push our opinions on them as their parents now we can only slightly nudge them and give sound advise. Their paths are their own. It's a great journey!!

When they are kids, they live their passion... As we mature, we have some "other things" that are here to distract us from doing what we love... But, when we realize that and take a step, everything changes!

Doing your passion and make a living from that is a dream, that is possible to accomplish... But it requires action, dedication, work, and many other things... But, it is worth!
