We're Moving...Soon!

It seems like the experience of moving is not such a strange occurrence amongst the CTP community members...lol!

Shortly after my arrival here on the blockchain, @jongolson moved across the American continent.

Then, later, it was the turn of @blainjones...

As I saw this, I already knew my turn is coming. And yes, my time has come...we are about to move.

We've never been really happy where we are now, so in the back of our minds, my wife and I knew that the time will come to move again.

Originally living in the Johannesburg area, we moved down to the coast back in 2003. At the time the move was work-related but we were filled with joy as we love the ocean and our dream has always been to live by the ocean.

We ended up about 40 KM (+/- 25 miles) away from the ocean. At least I suppose it's better than the 700 KM (+/-440 miles) of before while we were living in Johannesburg...lol.

Just before the Covid 19 situation, we were looking at buying some property together with our oldest daughter and her family...but then came lock-down...

We are still on level 1 lock-down, but at least we have more freedom of movement again.

Although our plan of buying together with our oldest daughter had to be put on hold for the time being, we are still not really very happy where we are right now.

So, my wife and I decided to just go out and see what's on the market. As I said to my wife, the main reason why we are still where we are, is because of the huge "challenge" of moving. So, as long as we don't do something, nothing will happen and we will just remain here.

We went out to "see what's on the market", and on that same day we signed for our "new home". We still aren't buying, but at least it's 50% closer to the ocean and about 2 KM away from our youngest daughter and her family.

Now it feels like we are spinning our wheels. It's juggling all activities all at the same time now. Working, organizing, planning, packing...everything at the same time...lol!

So if I get a bit quiet at times, please forgive me... I said I want to be more active on the blockchain this year, and that is still the plan. Things are just a bit hectic at the moment.

So, with that said, let me get back to packing...lol! It might be a bit hectic, but we're excited!
