July Goals - Great Progress

Having a target to aim for is one of the first steps to achieving your dreams. Are you setting goals so you can achieve your dreams?

I did not publish an update last week so this posting covers two weeks of progress.

Hive Target

In July, I targeted to increase my Hive Power by 45.2 Hive. The last two weeks I added 24.743, totaling 63.338 increase for this month. Exceeding my target by 40%. I had won a few engagement drawings in the ALIVE community which provided 200 HP lease for 30 days. I have three of these still active but one expires in two days. For August, my earnings may be slower due to the expired leases.

CTP Target

For CTP in July, I targeted to increase by 1395.6 CTP. The last two weeks I earned 831.927, totaling 1517.576 increase for this month. I was able to exceed my target by 8.7%. This past week, I have not been staking my earnings as there will be a staking contest in August.

Alive Target

In July, I targeted to increase ALIVE by 1248.8. The past two weeks I added 473.819, totaling 1537.002 increase for this month. I exceeded my target by 23%. I participated in daily engagement drawings which I won a few delegations of 1000 AP for 30 days and also participated in the ALIVE weekly staking contest. These extra awards helped me accumulate more Alive tokens than I would have otherwise earned by creating content, commenting and curation alone.

POB Target

In July, I targeted to increase POB by 95.0. During the past two weeks I added 46.448, totaling 111.723 increase for this month. I exceeded my target by 17.7%. I also participated in several contest with the POB community in which I placed and was awarded additional POB tokens.

LEO Target

For LEO in July, I targeted to increase by 34.5 LEO. I grew LEO by 10.4 over the past two weeks, totaling 24.207 increase for this month. I must admit I had started playing Splinterlands and it has taken up more of my time than normal. Due to this lack of time dedication, I only achieved 70% of my LEO target but I have made up for that shortfall in DEC and SPS airdrop tokens.

Summary

From my original published targets, I had increased my July targets because I beat my June targets. I once again beat 4 of the 5 targets I set for myself.

Since I believe targets should be a stretch to reach and not just something easy to achieve, I will again be adjusting up my August targets. I will update these in my first August post. I believe the contests were the main reason I was able to exceed my targets.
