I am to a place in my journey where I am wondering about upvoting value.

With my climb towards whalehood with #CTP token, if I have 100% voting power, my upvote is give more thant 10 CTP to who every I upvote.

It brings the question, what do I think someones blog post is worth.

Over the last 2 months I have been on steem I have been giving full upvote to every post I like.

Is it time for me to change that? Do I get picky and only give 50%, 75%, etc? How do I determine how much to award. It seems to me to make that choise and the amount to give is kinda, a spur of the moment choise.

If anyone can give me ideas of what they do that would be great. Or have I nailed what to do!

I'm a total n00b here so my opinion won't count for much since I really don't understand the whole thing yet but I've been doing 10% on any upvote since I figured out how to do it. Took me a few times to figure out the slider and then where to click the up arrow also :-)

i consider you should upvote by your own scale of values, depends of the quality content and some aspects, for example:

is the user putting the 100% of his efforts due his conditions??

is the user staking coins??

is the user a self improve being??

iff it acomplis this facts then i will no doubt on send a 100% upvote, i had a good vote on #sonicgroove, #int and #jahm so, i had to be carefull and always looking to support good content.

what is CTP? you suggest me to use this tag??

You are making really great progress here @bradleyarrow, it's really nice to see it happen first hand, and as to upvoting there are 2 factors here, first is what value do you think the post has to you and the CTPtalk tribe, and second how many post are you upvoting per day, you have a max of 10 upvotes of 100% in total per day to keep your Voting Power sustainable, so look at those factors and then do what you think is the right thing to do, and as to your guess, I would say Steem 15.3 cents and Bitcoin at $7500, but that is just me, keep up your great work and stay awesome.
