Ever green products are key including subscription based. It's why you've seen pretty much every major company now go subscription based for nearly everything. With subscription base you know what your profits are an can easily track if they are growing or falling allow you time to make changes and adapt to improve. It's easier to make one sale that's a subscription instead of making them all over again month after month.

I do understand that some like to throw lifetimes or one-time purchases and some customers like them too. Big bucks and all but what if the next month you can't get any sales from these?
I do have both on my program. You can have the Guide one time and then the Video Membership is monthly where I add videos every week.
I prefer having that monthly that eventually grows and I get new members and I know it's something that it's almost certain that I'll have it every month as long as I keep the quality service than having big bucks, spending like crazy (if it was for me it would be on cool projects on hive and gaming lolol) and then the other month I might have zero sales.
Residual and passive income to the moon!!

Lifetimes can come in handy it depends on the service being offered and how it's implemented. In many cases you look at the cost of about two years of what it would cost and bring that down 20% quick example if its $500 a year two years is $1,000 buy lifetime for $799 limited time offer ACT NOW! Or This is the only time you will see this offer before it's gone FOREVER! ;) lol

The other thing you would want to track is your retention rate. How long are people sticking around within the program on average before falling off. If its 3-6 months and your at $17 a month that's $51 - $102 for lifetime of the customer so a good price point option for the year could be $147 it's a big discount but since your retention rate is on the lower end you should actually see more profits at the end of the year.

I second the cool projects on Hive and gaming ;) haha
