Artificial intelligence is present in our daily lives.

Artificial intelligence has been in the spotlight for the last few years, and for good reasons, because up to this point we have all used some service with artificial intelligence, even, some online stores have virtual assistants that are managed by an AI system, so this system is almost in everything we know on the internet.

Undoubtedly, Artificial Intelligence has revolutionized the way we live, work and play. But what about the new uses of AI, how is it changing our lives in ways we never imagined? Here I'll tell you about it with some examples that you can already see for yourself if you research the topic a little deeper.

Health and wellness

AI is transforming healthcare in incredible ways. From diagnosing diseases to personalizing treatment plans, AI is making medical care more accurate and efficient. For example, AI algorithms can quickly analyze large amounts of medical data to identify patterns that could indicate disease. This can lead to earlier diagnoses and, ultimately, better patient outcomes.

In addition, efficiency is something that undoubtedly makes a big difference, as with the help of these services some work performed by the medical team, can now be automated.

Not to mention that many new machines are incorporated into advanced laboratories with this type of technology.

Agriculture

AI is also changing the way we grow our food. Farmers are using AI to monitor crop growth, predict yields and detect plant diseases. This is helping farmers make more informed decisions and grow food more efficiently and sustainably.

Other environmental factors, such as weather, rainy seasons or drought, can be predicted in advance thanks to AI tools, which is why I mentioned at the beginning that today AI is in almost everything we see.

Education

Education is another field that is benefiting greatly from AI, and this is really where I focus the most, as there are a wide variety of tools using AI that help in many fields of education.

AI systems can personalize learning for each student, adapting to their pace and learning style. This can make learning more effective and attractive for students, and even from a certain point, a little easier I would say, because in my time, when I was studying, there were no such tools, and all searches for information or research was a bit tedious, but today we can find tools like:

Search Engines: a tool that allows you to make more precise searches of the topics you want, this type of tools use AI systems to perform more in-depth searches in each of the publications on the web and give you the most accurate result to what you are looking for.

Tools to summarize content with: Many sites offer a service where you can upload documents, PDFs, books or much more and the site will give you a summary of the information in those documents, style can be useful in some cases, or you can even do specific searches in that document to save you time and read only what you are really interested in.

Create images: This is one of my favorite tools, because I use it daily to generate images for the content that I publish in my social networks or in my blog, the interesting thing about this is that thanks to AI we can get very good quality images just by giving precise specifications of how you want your image to be, you can make images with different types of art, color, size, style and much more, it is just a matter of making a request and the AI does the job for you.

AI Enhanced Cameras: Recently phone companies are incorporating AI technology to give better quality images taken by the cameras in my case I use a HONOR brand phone, and this phone has an integrated camera system with AI that helps to improve color contrast as well as image quality.

It also applies the use of AI for some photo filters and many more things.

Grammar and spelling correction: There are extensions or web pages that help you improve the way you write, telling you if the sentences are poorly formulated, or if they have some kind of spelling mistake, and I find this very useful at all times, as it helps to perfect the way you write.

And there are many more like them, so many that you really can not imagine, because if you dedicate yourself to search a little I know you will find a tool that suits what you need, in my case as a content creator, I use these tools to generate images and use them in my publications, or also use search engines with AI system to have more specific results when I do my research or want to search for a particular topic.

Environment

AI is also being used to protect our environment. For example, scientists are using AI to track and predict climate change.

This can help us better understand the impact of our actions on the environment and take measures to protect our planet, even, a while ago I saw a video of a guy who used an AI that through data collected from the internet was able to make a guess of what the planet would look like in the future if we continue with pollution, and it was really crazy, but AI is also very present in the environmental field.

But do not think that I have forgotten to mention the use of AI in the Crypto world, because this does not escape this trend, and I think it is currently one of the most used, and even different projects are using AI to include them in their platforms, such as exchanges and others.

Price prediction

One of the most exciting uses of AI in the cryptocurrency world is price prediction. AI algorithms can analyze large amounts of historical and current data to identify patterns and trends that can indicate where the price of a cryptocurrency is headed, the same work done by a regular trader, but AI analyzes the data faster.

This can be extremely useful for investors and traders looking to make informed decisions on when to buy or sell, of course like any human being it can make mistakes, and the market or the value of a crypto is not something that can be predicted 100%, but it is still useful.

Large companies such as Binance, CoinEx and others have incorporated trading bots that operate thanks to AI, and many of these bots have generated good income for traders who are not very expert in the subject.

Some AI failures

Now, let's talk about some of the cons of using AI, because not everything here is good...

Lack of transparency

One of the main challenges of AI is the lack of transparency. It is often difficult to understand how an AI algorithm arrives at a certain conclusion or prediction. This can be problematic, especially when it comes to important financial decisions.

And this applies to almost everything, as one of the doubts I was telling a colleague about a couple of months ago is: how can I trust platforms that detect content written by AI, when those platforms also use AI to detect it? It's a bit of a contradiction, and certainly an interesting topic to address, and I may take the time to do so in a future post.

Dependence on technology

Finally, there is a risk of relying too much on technology. While AI can be a useful tool, it is important to remember that it is not infallible, as I mentioned above, it also has its flaws just like every human being (AI is not perfect). Investors and traders should continue to do their own research and make their own decisions, of course we can use AI but it would be better to use it as a method to help, but not to rely 100% on it.

In my case I use it a lot every day, but I use it more to automate some jobs, or even to look for new ideas, or as I mentioned before, to make more effective searches or to create images for my publications.

But remember that AI is a TOOL, but it is not a substitute for the human being, always keep that in mind.
