Cooking Stir-Fried Mustard Greens and Tofu with Oyster Sauce for Lunch

Hellooo all plant base food lovers.

In this blog, I will try to share inspiration for the food I make every day using plant base. Almost all the food I make uses simple ingredients that are easy to find at the market or supermarket.

For today I made Stir-Fried Mustard Greens with Tofu with Oyster Sauce. Mustard greens are a type of vegetable that is easy to process and has various benefits. Green mustard greens are useful for regulating cholesterol levels, reducing bad cholesterol and increasing good cholesterol. Apart from its many benefits, mustard greens also have a delicious taste but are a little bitter. To minimize the bitter taste, this time I will prepare it using oyster sauce.

Ingredients needed: one bunch of green mustard greens, one tofu, oyster sauce, chili sauce, red chilies to taste, garlic to taste, sugar, pepper, salt and water.

How to make:

First, boil the green mustard greens briefly, then remove and soak in cold water, so that the color remains fresh and the texture remains crunchy.

Then cut the tofu into several pieces and fry with a little oil so that the tofu doesn't fall apart when you stir-fry it later.

After the tofu is cooked, sauté the garlic until fragrant then add the oyster sauce and chili sauce, cook briefly then add the chopped red chilies and cook until the sauce thickens.

After that, prepare a plate and arrange the green mustard greens and tofu that have been cooked earlier, then drizzle with the oyster sauce that we made earlier on top.

You can enjoy stir-fried green mustard greens and tofu with oyster sauce. From this dish we get protein from tofu and also fiber from mustard greens. Stir-fried green mustard greens and tofu with oyster sauce is very suitable to be enjoyed with rice. Can be used as a menu for lunch or dinner. The cooking method is also easy and the ingredients used are also simple. But the food produced is also nutritious and delicious.

Come on, try making it yourself at home. That's all for this blog.

Hi @ziyyah

Good morning. This dish could be vegan, but oyster sauce is an animal product. I remind you that in veganism no animal products are allowed.

On the other hand, you are new to Hive, which is why you must appear making your recipes (your face) in all the posts you publish in the communities: Plant Power (Vegan), Foodies Bee Hive or Amazing Drinks.

Greetings.
