Cow Manure is powering crypto mining
One of the business really flourish during last year is crypto coins. Crypto coins gained huge worth in one year. During this tenure, BTC, ETH and Binance achieved all time high worth. Crypto global capitalization was about to touch 2,500 Billion when things strated to reverse. Almost 1,000 Billion USD wiped out from the market.
One of the main reason of huge dip in coin worth is the excessive fossil fuel usage for crypto mining. Power usage has been exponentially increased due to high worth of profit. Unfortunately, fossil fuel is used for mining which generates green house gases. Environmental impact and China ban on crypto currency really decreased coins worth.
Crypto has great future as world no 2 richest man Elon Musk is a big fan of crypto currency. But at the same time, he showed deep concern over coal based fuel usage for crypto mining. Renewable energy may solve this issue.
I am amazed to learn that cow manure is used for mining. Strange but interesting. Philip Hughes crypto mining is already adopting this practice in his farm. Hughes farm near the Berwyn mountain range is already providing mining service by utilizing cow poo. Anaerobic digestion process is used for the production of electricity.
Minure in his farm first produce methane gas by decomposing in the absence of oxygen. This methane gas run big six-cylinder engine at 500 rpm and produce electricity.
75% electricity generated by anaerobic digestion is consumed in farm while remaining 25% energy is used for Ethereum mining. Great example set by Philips Hughes. World badly need renewable energy. I hope such renewable energy source will open new way not only for generating electricity but also help to use clean and green energy for mining.
