Should HIVE Create an AI Image Server?

I bought some credits on DALL-E in April. The picture above is one of the images I've generated so far.

I will run out of credits in the near future and am looking for an alternative to DALL-E.

AI began as an open source project and there are numerous organizations moving into the field.

Most of the companies moving into the AI-imaging space use a subscription model. I really don't want to have to sign up for another subjection. I prefer the simple credit model used by DALL-E.

So, I have two big questions of HIVE?

The first is: What are your favorite alternatives to DALL-E?

The second, and more interesting question, is: Should HIVE create its own AI image generator?

NOTE: Imagine generation code depends on access to a library of creative commons images. As I understand, the image generation takes a fair amount of processing power. The development of these projects seem to involve networks that are building up libraries of images.

HIVE is an ideal payment platform. It would make sense to combine HIVE and image generation.

Different AI Platforms

I've been investigating different AI-imaging programs like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion.

Some of the AI-image programs involve Discord Servers. To run these programs, one invites a bot to the discord. The bot requires a subscription fee. Users can then query the bot with the "imagine" command.

It appears that some programs access resources on cloud servers.

Other programs appear to involve compiling open source code and running the code on servers that have sufficient resources to run the code.

So, there appear to be different approaches to the problem.

Creating an AI-generator might be the simple matter of creating a discord server and selling access to the server for a fee to cover the subscription price for the bot.

The Ideal Image Generator for HIVE

I personally prefer web interfaces to Discord interfaces.

In my opinion, the best AI generator would be a web based program like DALL-E. One would create a prompt for an AI image. They would then pay some HIVE coins to generate the image.

There Might Be Existing Companies Willing to Join HIVE

There are numerous companies developing AI-image servers right now. Many of these companies are actively seeking markets for their product.

One possible path to creating an AI generator might involve contacting people who are developing AIs and asking if they would be willing to accept crypto for their product.
