ザッピングとは、テレビ視聴において、リモコンでチャンネルを頻繁に切り替えながら視聴する行為のことである。この記事では、私が加入しているSNSをあちこち見て感じた特徴を書いてみたい。

1.X(旧Twitter)
前身のTwitter が2006年(日本では2008年)に始まっただけあって企業や有名人の公式アカウントなどもたくさんある。速報性と拡散性に優れていたと思うが、イーロン・マスクが買収してXになって以降、徐々に有料化されてどう変化していくかみもの。というか、完全有料化したら退会するつもり。

2.Facebook
私のフォロワーは中高年が中心。あと私の個展を見てくださったり絵を買ってくださったりする人はFacebook 経由が多い。でも迷惑なコメントもついたりするので注意が必要。

3.Instagram
私は自分の作品の画像をシェアしている。画像の一覧が見られるので、私にとってはポートフォリオがわりだ。個展がしたくてギャラリーに作品画像を見せたい時はInstagram のアドレスを教えている。

4.Threads
Facebook、Instagram と同じメタ社がXに対抗して(?)作ったテキストベースのSNS。Xよりも文字数が多く書けるからか、みな語る語る。特に私のおすすめTLに出てくるのがアーティストの投稿が多いので、必然的にアートに関する自分の考えや日記などが中心になり、割と読み応えがある。もちろん企業や有名人の公式アカウントも増えている。

5.Bluesky
招待制で、最近招待コードが来たから加入してみた。分散型SNSだが使い方はTwitter とほぼ同様。しかしまだ詳細不明。

6.Hive
そしてHiveはブロックチェーンSNS。上記のSNSにない特徴として、いいねをもらった数に応じて暗号資産がもらえる。文章が得意ならおすすめしたいSNSである。ジャンル別にコミュニティもあり、コミュニティに沿った内容であれば高報酬が得られることもある。

その他アカウントはあるがあまり使っていないSNSとしてTikTok、note、Mastodon、Telegram などがある。

Zapping is the act of frequently switching channels with a remote control in television viewing. In this article, I would like to write about the characteristics I found after looking here and there at the social networking sites I subscribe to.

1.X (formerly Twitter)
the predecessor of Twitter, started in 2006 (2008 in Japan), and there are many official accounts of companies and celebrities. I think it was excellent in terms of speed and diffusion, but since Elon Musk bought it and turned it into X, it has gradually become a paid service, and it will be interesting to see how it changes. I'm going to cancel my membership when it goes fully paid.

2.Facebook.
My followers are mainly middle-aged and older people. Many of the people who visit my exhibitions or buy my paintings come through Facebook. But I have to be careful because I get some unsolicited comments.

3.Instagram.
I share images of my works on Instagram. It is like a portfolio for me because I can see a list of images. When I want to have a solo exhibition and want to show images of my work to galleries, I give them my Instagram address.

4.Threads.
Threads is a text-based social networking service created by Meta, the same company that created Facebook and Instagram, to compete(?) with X. Maybe it's because I can write more words than X, but everyone talks about it. Especially, since many of the posts that appear on my recommended TL are from artists, they are inevitably centered on their thoughts and diaries about art, and they are rather interesting to read. Of course, official accounts of companies and celebrities are also increasing.

5.Bluesky.
Bluesky is an invitation-only site, and I recently received an invitation code to join. It is a decentralized SNS, but the usage is almost the same as Twitter. However, the details are still unknown.

6.Hive.
Hive is a blockchain social networking service that offers a feature not found in the other social networking services mentioned above: you can earn crypto assets based on the number of likes you receive. If you are good at writing, this is the SNS I would recommend. There are also communities for different genres, and if your content is in line with the community, you can earn high rewards.

Other social networking sites that I have an account but do not use much are TikTok, note, Mastodon, and Telegram.
