The Creator|| Bridging The Gap Between Two Worlds.
One funny fact is that 'junk foods' made up a greater part of the things I saw as 'positive' when I was younger, which pretty much made everything hilarious. While my peers were fantasizing on how to become superman or the flash, I was here fantasizing on how I would just think of a plate of over roasted chicken with chips and it would appear. That would have been one hell of a super power.
About The Movie.
The creator is an American science fiction action film directed by the British filmmaker, Gareth Edwards. Released on the 29th of September 2023, the movie is a splendiferous invention.
The creator is a movie that throws you into thoughts. It makes you ponder deeply about human existence and the world around you. It makes you see things differently, exploding your mind with 'what if' questions like I like to call them.
As a future war between the human race and artificial intelligence (AI) lurks around the corner, Joshua, a former special forces agent is sent on a mission to hunt down and exterminate 'the creator'–an extremely advanced AI who has the ability to control things at will.
Without any single idea as to what or who the creator may be, Joshua embarks on the journey as he hopes to find his long lost wife in the process. As things keep unravelling, Joshua becomes more and more astounded.
Cast
John David Washington as Joshua
Joshua was an ex special forces agent who just wanted to live a peaceful life as he was still mourning the death of his beloved. His peace was soon disturbed as he was cladded with the task of finding and killing a lethal weapon.
He eventually found the legal weapon and instantly knew that killing it was going to be the worst mistake of his life, so he became a felon.
Joshua acted out his role really beautifully right from the start to the very end. There were no dull moments with him, nor were there any loose ends. He did great.
Gemma Chan as Maya
Maya happened to be Joshua's one true love. She was a n epitome of beauty and resilience. She showed that bridging the gap between the two worlds was going to be a good move.
Maya got separated from Joshua for five whole years and in this five years, she couldn't exact any changes because she was incapacitated.
Madeleine Yuna Voyles as Alphie
Alphie played the role of Maya's daughter who was ultimately the lethal weapon to be hunted down. The role of Alphie was an unexpected twist in the movie and I was surprised when she was introduced as the weapon. Such innocence.
She portrayed confidence and bravery every step of the way, proving that she was indeed what they thought she was.

My Opinion
I have seen a lot of movies this year and by a lot I mean a whole lot, but I can say with all certainty that this is one of the best movies I've seen this year. In my opinion, "The Creator" ticked all the boxes of what an action movie should be like. The movie most definitely exceeded my expectations as I didn't expect so much brilliance from a movie featuring AI as one of the main components.
The idea of AI came to light for the majority this year and so all AI movies were either portraying AI to be evil or a total menace to the human world but this movie did the direct opposite.
We've all heard of the endless possibilities AI comes with and embracing it with open arms would be the best bet. I like how well this movie bridges the gap between the human race and AI/robots.
One of the most significant elements of the film was the fictional U.S military space station–NOMAD. Each time nomad appeared on screen, I got increasingly astonished. The people behind the scenes who made everything work out just exceptionally are just geniuses. I would also love to commend them for their job, they did great.
Recommendation.
Every minute I spent watching this movie was totally worth it, I just couldn't have asked for more. This movie took me on an exciting swirl which ended beautifully.
As such, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this be a lesson or two to pick out.

Ah you just reminded me to finish this movie. I saw it last week, but dozed off somewhere half into it. Almost forgot of it because of how busy I’ve gotten since then. I should finish it one of these days.
