STV - Did AI´s Criticism hurt my feelings?

5 by5.jpg

Can I start the year any better than with spreading the vibes?
And it gets even better....
I will spread my own vibes because nothing smells better than a bit of me in the morning.

Now I don´t like banging my own drum, I love it. But I don´t do it that often, I mean who cares except for me? I get that there is no one interested unless I bring up something actually cool.

And right now everyone and even my grandma in heaven is into AI, so AI is cool. Guess that is why PEAKD has introduced this button.

And if you hit it hard enough you get a lovely little drop-down menu and in that menu, my interest was peaked by one option: Analysis Prompts.

Now at first, I would expect it to look at the topics I selected at the bottom, or compare my topics to see if they match the story.

Topics

So these were the ones I used:

But holy cow Batman, I still have a lot to learn because those clearly are not prompts.

Although it made sense in my little mind, especially if after selecting Analysis Prompts you get three more options:

Bring it On!

When I studied, yes I actually did study sometimes and I had to write a story or whatever the teachers would always be fascinated. Great work, awesome, but lacking any critical analysis. Now over time I fortunately found some critical voices, and over even more time I listened to them.

So I was very curious what AI would have to say about my seemingly Neverending Story as there are almost 100 chapters and we are not even close to the Boss of The World we set out to find many chapters ago.

Now I do start every chapter with a possibly thought-provoking intro so that should be easy for the intelligent A.

What Did Artie The Intelligent Make Of My Story?

Now before I share Artie's findings, I found that every analysis is different. Really different, sometimes it focuses on the intro, sometimes it keeps it short and focuses only on the reader's experience.

So the below is a combination of Artie´s findings that were most interesting to me:

This post is a continuation of a series of chapters in a story, and it focuses on the theme of choosing between the beaten path and the impassable terrain. The author questions whether taking the road less traveled truly leads to new places or if all paths eventually lead to the same destination.

Contrasting opinions to the ideas presented in this post could include:

  • Some may argue that taking the beaten path is the safer and more practical choice. They believe that it is unnecessary to seek out new and potentially dangerous paths when there are already established routes that can lead to the desired destination.
  • Others may question the validity of the author's claim that all roads eventually lead to Rome. They may argue that there are countless destinations and experiences that are unique and cannot be equated to a single city. They believe that exploring new paths can lead to unexpected and valuable discoveries.
Others may argue that the question about choosing the beaten path or impassable terrain is overly simplistic and does not capture the complexities of decision-making in real life.

Now I like how AI takes a multi-perspective look at that little intro as those make my stories stand out. But I am way more curious about what Artie thinks of the story and my style.

  • Contrary to the author's concern about whether they will ever get home, some may argue that the concept of "home" is subjective and can be found in different places and communities. They believe that the journey itself is more important than the destination and that the experiences and connections formed along the way are what truly matter.
  • The plausibility of the threat from the army: Skeptics may question the likelihood of Kreytu bringing in reinforcements to capture Dadrie and argue that this narrative element seems contrived or exaggerated.
  • The character development: Some readers may find the author's reflection on personal growth and opening their heart to be cliché or predictable, and may want to see more nuanced character development.
  • The pacing of the story: Critics may argue that the narrative jumps between different plot points and reflections too quickly, making it difficult to fully engage with the story.
  • Some readers may find it difficult to follow the story since this post is Chapter 94 and does not provide enough context for new readers to understand the plot and characters.
  • The author's reflection on personal growth and longing for home may come across as self-indulgent and disconnected from the main plot of the story.
  • The sudden shift in tone from discussing the characters' safety concerns to the author's personal reflections may disrupt the flow of the narrative and confuse readers.

As I said this was a collection of AI comments, but damn they were right about being critical.
I don´t have to agree of course, and I can see the bigger picture where the AI only sees one chapter...but still, this is definitely food for thought.

Not as much the cliche thing as there is a lot that happened previously. But the jumping from plot, to reflections and back again is something I like doing. But once I start editing this story I might want to take a long hard look at that.

AI A Mistake

Now the AI also messed up once or twice when it confused the thoughts of the protagonist with those of the author. Other than that it was a very interesting experience. Especially if you run the Critical Analysis a couple of times it tells a lot of things that might be overlooked during the write-up.

Some are totally related to the fact that one chapter out of 94 is not sufficient for Artie to understand the different plots, but he/she/it does trigger some self-reflection.

Now on top of that, I think I used one of the worst chapters to run this analysis on:
Beyond Doubt: Whispers of the Unseen - Chapter 94

Hence just to be sure I did another chapter as well and while there were some interesting points raised, they had very little to do with the style of my writing.

Arties Conclusion

Overall, this post raises thought-provoking questions about the choices we make in life and the nature of truth and reality. However, contrasting opinions can provide alternative perspectives and challenge the ideas presented.

...... and that is exactly what I am aiming for! So I at least got that right.

Bikini Bottom Line

I am very much impressed and intrigued by how Artie and will work together when I finally get to the editing phase. I am kinda stubborn on one side but I so appreciate good critiques.
All in all a very interesting experience, now some might be asking what the hell has this to do with Spreading The Vibe.

Well, there is a logic to that; all the while playing with Artie I had this song running through my head, and I am not even a fan.

Because if I am honest and I open up to all the AI possibilities my mind starts hurting. I might just be able to witness the virtual insanity that this world is heading for.

And although it´s an unpopular opinion I think humans in this day and age have probably the best life quality since we got our feet and left the ocean to start hunting.

Therefore I wonder if this Brave New Artificial Intelligent World we are headed for will be an improvement or our downfall.

Then again if I look at Artie´s thought-provoking criticism making me think and possibly become a slightly better author...... it might not be totally hopeless.

No way. You are not a fan of Jamiroquai or virtual insanity hahahahaha?

I listened to Jamiroquai and exactly this song, loudly a with vibe some two-three weeks ago and thought about bringing it to Q-inspired, with a story about the person I used to listen to that song and Cosmic Gril 😎 😁

So I stole your thunder......oops
It was my brother who was a huge fan so I know all the songs but somehow it was just too funky or something IDK. Still, this song clearly made an impression as it kept haunting me.

Therefore I wonder if this Brave New Artificial Intelligent World we are headed for will be an improvement or our downfall.

I think we are already ruined.

But this did not start now, our ruin has been gradual and is growing.
I encourage you to look among a lump of humans, one, just one, who might have the depth of AI in one of those analyses. Yes, there are, but you don't get this with a simple kick and out comes a scholar.
But I will give you good news, you are a profound being to realize that: nothing smells better than a bit of me in the morning. 😁

where have you left the coffee?

I just realized that this basically is the 2nd industrial revolution. First we replaced human bodies with machines, now that we perfected that we can also replace human minds with machines.

Coffee and fresh toast come in as a close 2nd !LOLZ
