I love it when a PUD Plan comes together!

Now for those who are keeping score, you know I have been struggling a lot to meet my goals these last two months. The big question on all your lips therefore should be, did he finally fail?

Let me release the tension in all of you and tell you that....I did NOT fail this month. As a matter of fact, I did better this month than I did the previous two months.

It takes only half a brain to figure out why that is:

That downtrend is causing an uptrend in the number of HIVE tokens I can earn in a month. And the best news is that I expect the second half of 2023 to go down to 20-25 cents. Not just HIVE though, I think the whole market will dump a bit till Jan 2024

2023 Goals for WhyWhy

To increase my Hive Power as my engagement.

Hive Power

That dump should make it pretty easy to complete my first goal for 2023, which is to go from 1000HP to 2500HP because I want my vote to matter.

Doing a 2.5X means a 1500 HP increase in one year while it took me two years to even reach 1000 HP. Now to keep some margin my goal is to acquire 150 HP each month. The past four months I reached that goal hence I sat at 1600 HP on the 1st of May.

That means 1st of June goal is 1750 HP, which would be halfway there..... Last month I had to Power up 66 HIVE to achieve my goal. But if you read between my lines I will need a bit less this month.

How much less?

That is quite a bit less about 30% and there is some left so it definitely looks like I am going to double the HP I built up in two years in 6 months and reach 2000 by the end of June.

Prospects

My unbelievable true story ended this month, but I had a long letter to my son to write. That letter allowed me to post 9 times this month.

And then there is my signature stuff, of course, my weekly music posts. So still did six posts a week. But even long letters end, that means a new story had to start...and it did:

Hence I should still be good for the month to come, but you are only as good as your last up-vote so nothing is taken for granted.

Me Challenging Myself

More reading, more comments, and exploring more communities, that is the other challenge I set for myself this year.

I made a nice bit of progress this month, but I (and I think most of us) need to engage much more. So I appreciate any tips on how you have increased your engagement. Because my trapdoor is that with all my focus on posting and completing my stories, I keep slacking.
