A NOOBs BTC Halving Expectation
Sorry, I just got to get this off my chest.
There is this noob, or rather there are a lot of noobs.
I know I used to be one, but I moved up to being a knob.
And these Noobs thought the halving would be magical.

And I get it, I was a Noob Pussy last time thinking big in 2020.....and guess what nothing happened after the halving, Next block was mined, and the next, and the next. That was May 2020 and nothing happened till October.
Of course, a noob should DYOR, but hey there is so much to learn when you are new in crypto. We should not have high expectations, they are human.
The Big Picture
But for those noobs that end up reading this;
"Mate, the halving itself is a nothing burger!"
"It´s just another day in crypto paradise."
When you want to know what really happens dive into the matter I will just paint you the bigger picture in one go:
Bikini Bottom Line
On April 20, 2024, BTC was at $63,851.10, that is the halving for you right there at the bottom line.
Now go and sit in the corner, and you do not have to wear your donkey hat this time. Just study your stuff, be quiet, and wait till October 2024.

I hope the 2024 halving goes the way of 2020 halving 😊
We will go parabolic and reach at least 150k
Interesting, so over the past couple of times the percentage increase has just about doubled. It was 7% then 14% or something like that.
55x 13x 7x my guess 3x is next taking us to just below 200k in 2028
I'll just be happy when we finally cross 100K since it didn't happen last time!

I have been trying to answer that question several times and it's hard.
Depends really on the vision long term.
For profit taking this cycle it's not. I still don't see more than 150-180 BTC
But looking at the trend next halving, BTC should be around 150k and doubling that at the top of the next cycle.
Hence long term yes, but knowing that during those 4 years we probably drop back down to around 40K maybe even near 30 it sounds expensive although your upside in 4 years looks to be 90K and downside 30K.
But short term I would put my money in some alts they are nice and cheap atm and by September or whenever this run up starts they will bring bigger short-term rewards

Yeah I think you are right, long term it should be fine, but maybe there is something in alts, although they look pretty dead right now.
