A Multi Media Experience: Art, Music and My LONG Story that requires you to think

Every Day A Different Story (14).jpg

Can I compare myself to Charles Dickens, I guess not. Still, I will for now.
I just started a very long journey, a story I thought would never end.

I will not bore you too much with the storyline today, if you are curious I will leave breadcrumbs for you to follow.

In this post, I will explain a bit more about whywhy I like to create a multimedia experience.

You can consider this story a feuilleton (follow-up story), just like "Days of Our Lives" (although I prefer to compare myself to Dickens whose books have often started as a Feuilleton).

What makes my feuilleton slightly different is that I address my dear reader in the preamble. Ask him or her to think about out or just give a push in a certain direction before the new episode starts and the story continues.

Often these are really personal questions that require the reader to look into their soul and think about who they are, and what they would do.

Why Make It So Difficult?

Why make it so difficult indeed?
We live in a time where people hardly think for themselves so why ask them to do so?

Honestly, because I like to write a little different. Interact with my Dear Reader. Make it personal, make it compèlling for the few that do still think for themselves.

I like every chapter to be an experience that makes your day just a tad more interesting. That is why I & AI work hard to add a pretty little picture as well.

It´s all about making it more than just a read, making it an experience you look forward to.

What will I be asked today?
How does the writer see the scene?
And that one picture I share could shape a whole fantasy world in the mind of my Dear Reader.

Yes, words do trigger a fantasy realm as well, but in the old days, books had often one illustration that would capture the mood. And from my personal experience, that illustration often was more powerful than a thousand words. Without drawing it all out and leaving nothing for my own imagination.

So I prefer to work with a bit of AI and come up with a tempting picture every chapter.

Signature

Of course, I can not write stories without ending or adding at least one song in every chapter. It has become my trademark, it's my way of creating that full experience.

My way of adding just a bit more feel and soul to the chapter you just finished.

Now I do understand that these addons are not for everyone and that there will be purists that despise me smucking up my attempt at literature. But who cares?

If it´s meant to be I will be found and my story will be read by the people that benefit from it.

How did I do the feuilleton thingy?

Well, to keep it easy every chapter opens with the same introduction. And allows new readers to skip back to chapter one:

And at the end of each chapter, there is a forward button to skip to the next chapter if already available.

To reach more readers I started posting in Freewriters and after ten chapters jumped to Scholar & Scribe. I have not found the next community to jump to, but all suggestions are welcome in the comments.

Bottom Line

The bottom line is very simple. The story needs to be good, appealing, and compelling. Now we can twist about taste, but if it´s not for you I can add tons of spices but it will not help.

The story is set in a remote village about 800 A.D. It´s based on some meditations and mixed with a bit of fantasy I think. Because if it all really happened....OMG.

So the main protagonist is a bit of a recluse who due to circumstances is pushed out into a world that is completely new to him. He will travel further than any of his tribe has ever done to answer a little boy's question:

"Why does this man think he is the boss of the world? And why does he feel so alone."

From that point, he enters a world that seems so normal except for those little things.

At this moment I post three chapters a week and lucky number fourteen has just been published yesterday,

You have till Saturday to catch up on chapters 1-14.....so please hurry Dear Reader you don´t want to be late to this party.

If Curious Just Click The Back Button to Start with Chapter 1
