Its a lost course (Motivational Monday’s)

“Life without problems is like an ocean without water. Which is really impossible” ― Bilal Khan,

It is not strange when one problem at a time arises then we resolve it and probably have a break to face the others that come at us afterwards.

Where it can get chaotic is when so many problems trail in like matching soldiers stomping their feet on little seedlings and lumpy debris to level it up.
This was my experience in the previous month leading up to this moment.

A crashed laptop meaning halted projects to scammers destroying farmlands with no regard to authorities and money lent to a friend going south.
When in trying situations one can think up ways to resolve them leading up to overthinking meeting several block roads and still be compounded with so many more problems to solve.

The storm is setting.

The whirling up of different emotions from sadness to anger then confusion to fear. Feeling unhinged to not being able to put everything in other.
Then looking for who can take the blame to ease yourself of these burdens that weigh so heavily on your shoulders.

In such a situation depression can set in, high blood pressure to suicidal thoughts of abandoning mission from the situation that has come alive.

Taking ones life is “Using a permernant course to resolve a temporal problem.”

Gring….gring… grinnnng! “Some men are on your the farmland!”
Widow: ‘What are they doing?’
“I don’t know, but they look suspicious.”
Widow: ‘Okay! Thank you for the information’
Grinnnnngg! ‘Some men are uprooting your crops and drawing parchments to build’
Widow: ‘But the case is still in the court’ of law.

She is feeling lost staring blankly at the wall.

In a situation like this, the question to be asked is...

WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU?

Life
Family

So we chose to feel gratitude instead. All the things that bothered us were material things and not a threat to our lives. What we cared about remained.
We were in praise and listed out the things we were grateful for and they were numerous.

It is all cleared up

We danced in laughter and were jolly.
We prayed and focused on what was most important to us.
Laying all our burdens at the makers feet to lead the way. We felt peace amidst the chaos outside and slept for the night.

Solutions to all that seemed too difficult to fathom at night trailed in the next day.

We all have those times when everything seems to be falling apart, and it's hard to get your mind straight to tackle everything at once.

It's very fortunate - and simultaneously very wise - that you chose to focus your energies on feeling grateful for everything that is good, rather than everything that is either out of your control, or that which it would not help to ponder further.

It's truly an important lesson in perspective, and is a strategy that I should try the next time such a situation occurs. I bet it'll help bring equilibrium and a clear sense of action to mind. Thank you for sharing this great lesson with us, and I look forward to many more. 😊

The analogy of soldiers as problems trailing towards you one after another really resonates with my experiences these past few months. Chaos dominates and the hard part is one can't solve it all. I guess we just have to learn how to swim on the ocean with the different tides and not lose sight of what's really important :)
