Audible es una producción estrenada en la plataforma de Netflix, la cual nos habla de un jugador de Fútbol Americano que sufre de hipoacúsico y esta a punto de disputar su último partido a nivel colegial. El joven lleva un duelo por la perdida de un gran amigo y el deporte es el escape para despejar la mente y rendir tributo a su compañero fallecido. Tiene una duración de 39 minutos y se hace muy ligera de ver.
Audible is a production released on the Netflix platform, which tells us about a soccer player who suffers from hearing loss and is about to play his last game at the collegiate level. The young man is grieving for the loss of a great friend and sport is the escape to clear his mind and pay tribute to his deceased teammate. It has a running time of 39 minutes and is very light to watch.
Observamos como es la organización de un equipo de hipoacúsicos, todo es a nivel de señas, entrenador, jugadores, rivales, ambos están en la misma linea y juegan muy duro resaltando grandes dotes de talento. Una de sus mayores aspiraciones es jugar contra un equipo que no posea ninguna discapacidad, pero no desean tener un duelo contra ellos, alegando tontas escusas, simplemente para no perder contra un equipo de sordos. En toda la producción hay una narración de todo lo que sucede.
We observe how is the organization of a team of hearing impaired, everything is at the level of signs, coach, players, rivals, both are on the same line and play very hard highlighting great talent. One of their greatest aspirations is to play against a team that does not have any disability, but they do not want to have a duel against them, alleging silly excuses, simply not to lose against a team of deaf people. Throughout the production there is a narration of everything that happens.
Amaree es el nombre del protagonista, quien nos explica como fue su que termino siendo sordo, ya que no nació de esa manera, todo ocurrió siendo un niño y de repente un día para otro perdió la capacidad de escuchar. Es interesante porque el colegio completo es para jóvenes con la misma capacidad, deben comunicarse a través de señas, pero llevan una gran relación y se muestran muy unidos.
Con el deporte y especialmente el Fútbol Americano, ellos tratan de demostrar su valor hacia el mundo, entre muchas otras cosas más de las cuales pueden destacar, porque son personas que pueden hacerlo todo, a pesar de su pequeña discapacidad, siguen siendo igual que todos y no se dejan caer por nada del mundo. La familia de Amaree, siempre lo apoyado y han estado junto a él desde el primer momento.
Amaree es el único sordo de su familia, al comienzo de su niñez no podían entenderlo, cuenta que la situación no fue sencilla, pero llevaron un buen proceso y lograron adaptarse. Esto nos habla de lo importante que es la familia para un joven, mucho más cuando se tiene una discapacidad. El padre de Amaree, lo abandono cuando estaba muy niño, pensó que lo había hecho porque era sordo, aunque luego más adelante la situación tuvo un buen final.
Y aparece en la historia Teddy, el mejor amigo de Amaree, joven que estuvo en el equipo de Fútbol Americano de Maryland y es quien falleció lamentablemente. Teddy, vivió mucho acoso en una escuela donde no había sordos, porque los padres lo transfirieron a un nuevo colegio y aquí fue donde ocurrió la tragedia a través del bullying. Cada vez que Amaree sale al campo de fútbol, tiene en mente a su buen amigo Teddy.
Amaree is the name of the main character, who explains how he ended up being deaf, since he was not born that way, everything happened when he was a child and suddenly one day to the next he lost the ability to hear. It is interesting because the entire school is for young people with the same ability, they must communicate through signs, but they have a great relationship and are very close.
With sports and especially American Football, they try to show their value to the world, among many other things that they can highlight, because they are people who can do everything, despite their small disability, they are still equal to everyone and do not let themselves fall for anything in the world. Amaree's family has always supported him and has been by his side from the very beginning.
Amaree is the only deaf person in his family, at the beginning of his childhood they could not understand him, he says that the situation was not easy, but they went through a good process and managed to adapt. This tells us how important family is for a young person, even more so when you have a disability. Amaree's father, who abandoned him when he was very young, thought he had done so because he was deaf, although later the situation had a good ending.
And Teddy, Amaree's best friend, appears in the story, a young man who was on the Maryland Football team and who sadly passed away. Teddy, lived a lot of bullying in a school where there were no deaf people, because the parents transferred him to a new school and this is where the tragedy occurred through bullying. Every time Amaree goes out to the soccer field, he has his good friend Teddy in mind.

El equipo de Amaree, perdió un juego luego de haber tenido una gran racha de victorias, todos los compañeros estaban molestos y Amaree estuvo muy frustrado. Lo cual nos deja ver la gran convicción y competitividad que tiene el joven con el deporte. Comprendieron que en la vida siempre habrá derrotas y solo deben prepararse para mejorar en la siguiente ocasión. Porque al final nunca se pierde, se aprende y la experiencia te ayuda a mejorar.
Hay una escena donde van hacia una fiesta, me parece muy interesante este momento, porque ninguno tiene la capacidad de escuchar, pero de igual forma se divierten y bailan sin descanso durante toda la noche. La felicidad que despliegan los jóvenes es impresionante, no hay nada que nos imponga ser feliz y disfrutar de la vida a pesar de las circunstancias. En la vida de Amaree ocurre un reencuentro muy importante, dentro de cualquier hogar, la falta de un padre es perjudicial y vemos como eso le afecto en su momento al joven Amaree.
Las victorias que obtiene Amaree, son dedicadas a Teddy, igualmente los compañeros lo recuerdan en cada instante, alguno lo tiene tatuado incluso en su piel, demostrando la gran fraternidad que llevan todos en el equipo de Fútbol Americano. Los entrenamientos son fuertes, se preparan para el partido más importante de la temporada y el cual será el último partido de Amaree antes de cumplir los 18 años de edad e ingresar a una Universidad.
En el último partido logran un gran resultado, Amaree, despliega un bonito juego y es un final muy emotivo. La producción termina con unas importantes palabras de Amaree, -pronto cumpliré 18 años, me graduaré y saldré al mundo real. Necesito estar preparado, me da miedo, lo desconocido, desafíos, todo me ayuda a aprender y estoy listo para salir al mundo. Increíble, él entiende que no será nada fácil una vez llegue a la universidad y de todas formas está listo para afrontar lo que venga. Buen documental del joven Amaree.
Amaree's team lost a game after having a great winning streak, all the teammates were upset and Amaree was very frustrated. This shows us how much conviction and competitiveness the young man has for the sport. They understood that in life there will always be defeats and they just have to prepare themselves to do better the next time. Because in the end you never lose, you learn and the experience helps you improve.
There is a scene where they go to a party, I find this moment very interesting, because none of them has the ability to listen, but they still have fun and dance non-stop all night long. The happiness displayed by the young people is impressive, there is nothing that imposes us to be happy and enjoy life despite the circumstances. In Amaree's life a very important reunion occurs, within any home, the lack of a father is detrimental and we see how that affected young Amaree at the time.
The victories that Amaree obtains are dedicated to Teddy, and his teammates remember him at every moment, some even have him tattooed on their skin, demonstrating the great fraternity that they all have in the American Football team. The trainings are strong, they prepare for the most important game of the season and which will be the last game of Amaree before turning 18 years old and entering a University.
In the last game they achieve a great result, Amaree plays a beautiful game and it is a very emotional ending. The production ends with some important words from Amaree, -I will soon turn 18, graduate and go out into the real world. I need to be prepared, I'm scared, the unknown, challenges, everything helps me learn and I'm ready to go out into the world. Awesome, he understands it won't be easy once he gets to college and he's ready to face whatever comes his way anyway. Good documentary of young Amaree.
