#Leo Zealy Quest: Slay the Dragon 🐉 [Submission Post]

Hello friends, welcome to my blog. Today, i am going to share with you my “storytelling” art on how i “Slay the dragon” as a lion.
But wait, for my new friends seeing this title for the first time, let me explain to you; Basically, “Slay the dragon” is a quest on Leofinance Zealy campaign that has been going on since 1st of May this month and it’s comes with huge winning price and rewards. so this is just me taking on another challenge from the quest. _{Here’s the Link to join us.}

Materials used in this drawing includes;

• Cardboard
• Pencil
• Pen
• Crayons

Like I said this is a fictional storytelling Art by me. it’s a way i think it’s necessary to make this whole art of mine lively, i bet nobody wants boring stuff. Hopefully this will be interesting to you. So without further ado let’s dive in.

Chapter 1.

Once upon a time, there’s a jungle with a lion king 🦁 he has ruled for several years where peace reigned. But one day the lion king had to leave his jungle for an important mission in another territory leaving him no choice but to leave his people for 2 years.

In the absence of the lion king, Dragon 🐉 “lord of fire” 🔥 took over the jungle by force, terrorizing, causing mayhem and putting fears into the hearts of other animals in the jungle.

This is my first step, drawing of the lion king and the dragon upon there first meeting in years. with my cardboard well placed, I used my pencil for the sketching process.(i used pen for writing the captions)

Chapter 2.

Now, 2 years has passed since the lion king left the kingdom and the ruthlessness of dragon “lord of fire” has gone wild and beyond. But;

One faithful day, lion king (still at the other kingdom) somehow got to know the ordeal been caused by dragon to his people. Lion king was furious and left immediately for his kingdom.

It got to the attention of dragon that the lion king is back in the jungle he was afraid and quickly make a run for it not knowing he’s gonna end up face to face with the lion king.

”i was able to finished up the sketching of the meeting between the lion and dragon, using my pencils & crayons..the first page was black and white but i later colored it with my crayon in the second picture above. (i used pen for writing the captions)”

Chapter 3

Alas, Dragon was shocked on spotting lion king, but he summon courage and engaged in a battle with the lion king. They fought for almost an hour before dragon realises its a battle he can’t win and hence he decided to flee.

But this is not to be case as the lion king jumped as high as he could to grab dragon before he could make a run.

“you can from the above pictures i drew, the encouter between lion and dragon, first picture shows how i started sketching, the second shows when i was done sketching while making use of my pencil, while third is when i decided to publish it up with my crayons” (i used pen for writing the captions)

Chapter 4. [Final Chapter]

The lion king was victorious, the dragon has been slayed and was lying on the ground helplessly while the lion king is standing tall. And with the dragon slayed, once again peace returned to the kingdom and the lion king vow never to leave his kingdom in jeopardy never again.
The End.

“i continued with the steps for this sketch as well, I first of all make the sketch of how i started using my pencil, then after i was done sketching (which actually took alot of my time to make it this way, lol) i then went ahead by putting colors with my crayon.” (I used pen for writing the captions).

And there you have it friends, the dragon has been slayed.

Note: This weird little back up story i tell on this art post is all made up by me. it’s not real, it wasn’t gotten from anyone or generated by any means. It’s my idea.
