It is good that I can still get previous edition cards even though they have been discontinued. I have not bought anything in a while because I have been building up my pool amount in order to earn more and subvert those god forsaken taxes that take everything my city earns.

The meta has definitely shifted to tax refunds, but honestly getting in the pool is very viable, and may even perform much better than a non-optimized city!
Optimized city? I have been trying to figure out how that works since tax was raised to 100%. I guess if I was not so frustrated I would have figure it out by now. 😃
I currently have almost 40k sim in the pool but I am still only making 40 sim a day and .009 hive a day. 😁
I like you, so don't take this the wrong way - but you are going to have to get over/get past the tax rate if you are going to understand dCity in its current form. Lots of OGs honestly seem unable to do it. The game used to have one meta, now it has another. Its been adding on mechanisms over time.
