Air Fountain

I am working on a lot of things that I hope will help me grow even more then where I have been the last couple years ingesting philosophies on life. One of those things is bringing more money my way. I have been playing in the hive marketing arena and although there is an extremely small amount of people using it I have noticed a few other things and have decided to delve into this topic even more. I want to start adding footer affiliate links that pertain to diy creations. I found such a creation and knew I had heard something similar back around 2015 or 2016 so I went in search of this and rediscovered the Warka Tower.

The Warka Tower is a device created by Arturo Vittori after visiting the northeast region of Ethiopia in 2013. By 2015 the first tower went up and Warka Water Inc was born.

The tower was named after the warka tree. A large, wild fig tree found only in Ethiopia. This tree provides shade and therefore is used as a community gathering place and a place of prayer.

But the tree was not the only inspiration for this project. Scientists have been studying insect behavior for decades and discovered some in harsh climates can gather water from air.

I found all of this interesting and wanted to know more. Was this the only project of its kind? On this journey I discovered that not only are there similar projects, and other groups like Warka Water, but this was something that this article, from The Economist, written by author Tom Standage, published in August of 2005 refered to as atmospheric water generators. AWG for short.

This article calls this technology an under-explored water solution component.

What the Warka Tower and projects like it do is to cool the air enough to create condensation. This is the basis for this article. I think that such a thing should not just be for geographically arid areas but should be in every home on the planet. This would relieve people from having to rely on what is now days considered a very over stressed grid system.

I wanted to showcase some of the machines I had found but it seems there are more industrial atmospheric water generators than there are for personal use. I also found there are just as few companies that manufacture and or sell them. In total there are about eleven companies I found.

While it seems genaq gives limited information and I still am not sure how to go about finding more H20machine.com does a side by side comparison with for other brands. H2o machines, according to the comparison comes with a ten year warranty and go through a six step filtration process as compared to the one year warranty and three step filtration process of the genaq machines.

In contrast, TheDewWater machines DSA-1F model, comes in two colors, black and white. Unlike the previously mentioned machines, this site provides specific dimensions.

Finally I would like to talk price. For a true atmospheric water generator and not just a water filtration system or a dehumidifier the price starts around 1000.00 USD and goes up. I was also unable to find any information as to a power source for any of the machines I looked into.
