🐯Committing 100% to LeoFinance & its ecosystem !
Hello HODLers,
This has been in my thoughts for the past few days and even weeks.
I first came to Steem and then Hive through Blogging and was meeting a lot of different users who shared some common interests with me.
As time went on, most of the topics I like to discuss and for which I had created the HODL Community have moved to leofinance.io .
This community was first created to talk about the very topics LeoFinance addresses.
I find myself spending most of time there talking to other crypto / finance investors and started to wonder if I was not becoming a LEO user and occasionally a Hive Blogger.
Then, we have assisted to the recent DeFi launch of $CUB and many other projects under the LEOFinance umbrella are currently being developed.
I am still amazed at how such a small team (getting bigger) managed to develop new use cases and dapps widely different. Of course, the best is YET to come with ProjectBlank and $CUB updates.
For the past few days I have solely posted from the Leofinance UI and intend to continue.
This community is vibrant and shares great tips. We could even be witnessing some kind of "Wisdom of the Crowd" moment.

I tend to post any LEO content directly on LeoFinance because you lose 20% otherwise (10% of total rewards). Are you still planning to cross-post on other platforms or are you talking about the specific front-end on HIVE?

I am for now committing to just publish through the LEO front-end and not use peakd or other ones.
I also always share leofinance links on Twitter, etc... which brings a few people along and maybe some users join after looking at other articles / some rewards.
Next step is to only publish on Leofinance.io and no other platforms for non-related hive/leofinance content ;)

Ah ok. I am not sure if its better or not to cross-post. At least from what I heard about from @hitmeasap, he said that it doesn't hurt to cross-post so long as the links inside the post reference HIVE/LEO.
It may not have an immediate impact but it may over time. Then again I am not completely sure so maybe he can clarify

Well, cross-posting is actually duplicate content, as you will publish the exact version of one post more than once. While this is a common strategy to attract blog traffic, it is likely to hurt SEO.
A much better idea would be to have unique content, and if you want to cross-post to improve SEO & get more traffic (and increase you earnings), I would suggest that you make some changes to the content while still talking about the same things. Minor adjustments will go a long way and change it from harming SEO to improving it.

Well, as you want the content to be unique, there should basically be enough adjustments to make it that, but it's difficult to say exactly how much- or what you need to adjust. It's impossible to know for sure.

It's a bit too much work for me. I guess I'll just continue to cross post the same content to fill my bags. Maybe someday those links back to HIVE will make an impact.

You are off to a great start. Keep it going.
Leofinance is developing some wonder things. It is going to be fun what rolls out the rest of the year.

Next step is to stop cross-posting your LeoFinance content to other domains like Publish0x and remove the links to them.
Original content is king and the more high quality, original content we have on LeoFinance, the better it is for our future.

Definitely thinking about it and will do very soon; except for videos that I would have to put on LBRY, 3Speak or Youtube to incorporate into this article.
I also plan to help curation on Leofinance as it can still be improved to discover new "talents" hehe

Thank you for your support in the HOLD community during the last year. If the captain leaves the ship, I will as well.
I will still continue to support HODL content but might actually make a broader curation project focusing on good Leofinance articles.
