Hi HODLers, Hiveans and Lions,

Ryan Wyatt, president of Polygon Labs, has announced he will be stepping down from his position at the end of the month. He will be replaced by the project’s Chief Legal Officer, Marc Boiron.

Marc Boiron is a Web3 veteran and seems quite excited about it:

“It's a privilege to serve the community & company as the Polygon 2.0 era begins!”

I must say, I do not find this news to be very exciting. Under Ryan's leadership, Polygon thrived despite intense competition from other Layer2 projects. Seeing him being replace by the Chief Legal Office is underwhelming to say the least. Time will tell!

I am looking at this closely as my favorite project #ImmutableX has recently partnered with Polygon to power ZkRollup Web 3 games. Also, our DeFi platform PolyCub is on the Polygon Blockchain as well.

What is interesting is that $MATIC the token powering the Polygon ecosystem seemscompletely unphased by the news.

Stay safe out here,

Also think there I no excitement in these news. Polygon has won quite some projects/cooperation the last 1-2 years and the CEO certainly was a main driver of that. But as you said, we have to wait and see. 🤞🏻
