🗞 Bitcoin Cash Faces ‘Slow Death’ After Alleged $30M Hack

In a now-deleted Reddit post from Feb. 22, the investor, who appears to be Dreamhost founder Josh Jones, said the attacker also stole 1,500 Bitcoin (BTC) worth $14.4 million.

Hacker steals reported $45M
The hack came in the form of Jones’ SIM card being compromised. So far, he has not confirmed whether this was a so-called “SIM swap,” or whether the funds were commandeered by other means.

In the deleted post, Jones appealed to BCH miners not to validate the transactions. He wrote:

“It’s only had 3 confirmations, if any miners/the community can help somehow, I’ve got the private keys. Help help help.. Big reward obviously.”

🗞 Bitcoin Price Bullrun May Last 1000 Days as 2020 Now Best Average Year

Bitcoin (BTC) is worth more in 2020 than any other year it has existed — and historical data suggests that its price will continue climbing for another 19 months.

Data uploaded to Twitter by fund partner James Todaro on Feb. 21 reveals that in terms of volume-weighted average price, 2020 is Bitcoin’s best year ever.

BTC volume-weighted average: 2020 biggest year
The volume-weighted average calculates the Bitcoin price over a certain period as a ratio on the basis of trading.

For 2020, the average for BTC/USD is $9,120, according to Todaro’s calculations. This is higher than even 2017 when the pair reached its current all-time high of $20,000. For that year, the volume-weighted average was $6,125.

🗞 Here’s Why Interest Rates on Cryptocurrencies Could Be a Game-Changer

Lending and borrowing cryptocurrencies is becoming an increasingly important sub-sector of crypto finance, one that may end up shaping how the underlying assets themselves are valued and priced in the markets.

While still in its infancy, the growth of crypto lending platforms has given birth to a new type of measuring metric: interest rates, which has the potential to draw in new investors while encouraging the movement of crypto capital out of storage and into markets.

In traditional financial markets, interest rates reveal significant information about the health of the economy and form the basis for almost all asset valuation models. Whether it be for calculating expected return or present and future market value, the interest rate is a key variable based on the lending and borrowing of assets.

🗞 G20: Think Tank, Ministers, Central Bankers to Talk Crypto, CBDC Policy

The G20 will once again tackle the issue of cryptocurrencies and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), with an influential think tank, ministers and central bank chiefs set to embark on discussions in the weeks and months ahead.

The T20, a research and policy advice network that reports to the G20’s presidency (currently Saudi Arabia) on summit agenda items, has revealed that one of its task forces will be looking into cryptocurrency regulation.

The T20’s TF8 team, per its website, will be tasked with examining “the governance and regulation of cryptocurrency and fintech, their impacts on the international monetary system, their potential use in money laundering and terror financing, and how these activities can be monitored.”

🗞 "Tron Is Better Than Ethereum!" A Bitcoin Game

"The technical infighting in the ETH community is a significant technical hurdle."

"Ethereum massively outguns Tron when it comes to node numbers."

Tron (TRX) is a superior platform to Ethereum (ETH), claim multiple Bitcoin (BTC) people.

For several weeks now, certain Bitcoiners have been trolling the Ethereum camp, claiming that Justin Sun and his Tron are coming to take its throne as the platform of choice for blockchain-based apps and development. It might be not surprising, as Ethereans are intensifying their efforts to push the “ether is money” narrative, thus increasing competition with Bitcoin.

However, the provocations raise a serious question: just how well does Tron compare to Ethereum, objectively? Well, according to a number of industry observers, Tron is a better platform in technical terms, although it isn't as decentralized and doesn't have as healthy a community of developers.

Here is the chart of my last analysis :

Here is the current chart :

We are currently consolidating the correction that we experiences some hours ago and we are now in a range between the resistance line at 0.23$ and the support line at 0.21$. It is impossible to know which direction we will take and we will have to wait that direction to be able to do a trade. Some will try a casino trade but it is not the goal of these publications. Patience Patience Patience....
