๐Ÿ—ž Coronavirus and Crypto in China

Coronavirus has been dominating the news cycle last couple of months, as it continues to spread across the globe.

Cointelegraph has taken a closer look at how coronavirus is affecting the crypto industry in China, interviewing various professionals who work in this space in the country.

The consensus is that, although the crypto industry is not immune to the effects of the virus and the panic it elicits, the impact is mitigated by the fact that much of the work in this space does not require a lot of face-to-face interaction.

๐Ÿ—ž Steemians, the fight is not over: "WE NEED YOU" to get our witnesses back to the TOP !

I am so proud of our Community right now, uniting to defeat the tyrant Justin Sun and its Poloniex puppet !

But we still need to reclaim 10 witnesses spot ! Therefore I count on all of you guys to vote for our witnesses.

Even if I Don't Always agree with all the witnesses' proposals, we are showing the CryptoWorld that STEEM has a real Community and that WE ARE DECENTRALIZED !

๐Ÿ—ž Huobi Withdraws Steem Votes, Admits to Mobilizing Customer Funds

Four former witnesses have been voted back onto the council of 20 nodes that underpin the Steem blockchain. Their reinstitution follows the withdrawal of votes from major exchanges Binance and Huobi in support of what has been described in an attempted takeover of the network.

In a statement issued by Huobi on March 3, the exchange admitted that it had mobilized its customersโ€™ STEEM holdings to vote in favor of ousting the blockchainโ€™s previous validators in favor of Tron founder and recent purchaser of Steemit Inc, Justin Sun:

โ€œFrom time to time, Huobi stakes user holdings to help block malicious activities and attacks on blockchain networks. Prior to this particular event, Steemit and Tron had reached out to seek our support.โ€

๐Ÿ—ž Indiaโ€™s Supreme Court Lifts Banking Ban on Crypto Exchanges

The Supreme Court of India has ruled against a decision imposed by the country's central bank nearly two years ago that stifled crypto trading in Asia's third-largest economy.

According to a report from Bloomberg, a three-judge bench of the court ruled on Wednesday in favor of petitions by crypto exchanges and startups that opposed the decision made by the Reserve Bank of India in April 2018, which banned domestic financial institutions from providing banking services to crypto exchanges.

The central bank's decision at the time forced crypto exchanges in the country to either close, relocate to other jurisdictions or shift their business model to crypto-to-crypto and over-the-counter trading.

While crypto exchanges immediately filed petitions to the Supreme Court after the central bank's decision in 2018, a clear decision had not been reached until Wednesday after several rounds of hearings. Some exchanges had been forced to close as trade plunged while the case was ongoing.

๐Ÿ—žSuper Tuesday Special: Which US Election Outcome Is Best for Bitcoin?

It's 'Super Tuesday' in the U.S., and as Democrats take to the polls to pick their nominee, @nlw polled Twitter to see who the crypto community thought would be best for bitcoin (BTC) and the industry.

Today is Super Tuesday - one of the biggest days of the U.S. election primary season. Increasingly, prediction markets and pollsters suggest itโ€™s coming down to a two-person race between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders (although Mike Bloomberg has insisted heโ€™s staying in).

In this episode, NLW breaks down each candidate in the context of their positions vis a vis cryptocurrency, and looks at the possible role of three other fallen contenders during the rest of the campaign.

STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion

Here is the chart of my last analysis :

Here is the current chart :

The Steem is moving quietly just undert the resistance line at 0.19$. I'm not sure the current chart is accurate with all the moves due to the exchanges and the fight with witnesses and Justin. Let's see how all that will finish if they really set the powerdown to some days. I'm afraid that it crashes price but what can we do... Let's see and take adequate actions.
