I really thought the dutch are intelligent folks but they seem to be dumb as fuck, like pretty much the rest of the world.

It's not the Dutch themselves, it's the politicians ;<)

I am a Dutchman and living in Portugal since 2018. All of this is one of the reasons why I left my country and escaped the system. The farce goes on. The Truman Show and Black Mirror have become reality.
