Cooking At Coast Park In Fine Weather [ENG-TUR]

This summer, due to some busyness in my life, I couldn't do much more weekend activities than that of the last summer. Summer is over, the weather is no longer hot and muggy like in summer. Contrary to expectations, the weather becomes cold in the evenings and nights. However, it was a very nice weather in Istanbul last weekend. Thinking that this opportunity should not be missed, I and my friend planned to grill on Maltepe Coast Park and get some sea air. We bought meat and chicken stuffs from the market the day before.

Bu yaz, hayatımdaki bir takım yoğunluklardan dolayı geçen yaza göre fazla haftasonu aktivitesi yapamamıştım. Yaz mevsimi de bitti, artık havalar yaz gibi sıcak ve bunaltıcı değil. Beklenenin aksine akşamları ve geceleri hava soğuk oluyor. Buna karşın, geçen haftasonu Istanbul'da çok güzel bir hava vardı. Bu fırsat kaçmaz diyerek arkadaşımla Maltepe Sahil Park'ında ızgara yapmaya ve deniz havası alma planı yaptık. Birgün öncesinden marketten et ve tavuk çeşidi malzemeleri aldık.

Since barbecue is prohibited at Maltepe Coast Park, we were going to use a scuba grill. We set out in the afternoon, taking other things such as tables, chairs and drinks. We arrived at Maltepe Coast Park in just 20 minutes. For those who don't know, Maltepe Coast Park is a park-like social facility built on a very large area. Approximately 10 years ago, the beach was expanded by filling the sea and took its current form.

Maltepe Sahili'nde mangal yapmak yasak olduğu için tüplü ızgara kullanacaktık. Õğleden sonra masa, sandalye, içecek gibi diğer malzemeleri de alarak yola çıktık. 20 dakika gibi kısa bir sürede Maltepe Sahil Park'ına vardık. Bilmeyenler için, Maltepe Sahil Parkı çok büyük bir alana kurulmuş park tarzında bir sosyal tesistir. Yaklaşık 10 sene önce, denize dolgu yapılarak sahil genişletilmiş ve bugünkü halini almıştır.

Because the weather was so fine, there were a lot of people or families at the coast park. There were still people coming to the coast park after we arrived. We found a quieter place a little closer to the sea. We set up our chairs and the table, turned on the grill and started cooking meat, chicken wings and drumsticks.

Hava çok güzel olduğu için sahil parkında bir sürü insan veya aile vardı. Biz gelirken de halen gelen sahil parkına insanlar vardı. Biraz denize yakın ve daha sakin bir yer bulduk. Sandalyelerimizi ve masayı kurduk, ocağı yakıp et, tavuk kanadı ve butları pişirmeye başladık.

I helped my friend with cooking, then I went to the seaside for a while and took photos of the sea and the islands. As seen in the photos, the weather was very nice; the coast park was very lively and full. Since the coast park is quite large, it is not difficult to find a comfortable place for yourself.

Arkadaşıma pişirme için yardım ettikten sonra ben biraz deniz kenarına gidip denizin ve adaların fotoğraflarını çektim. Fotoğraflarda da görüldüğü gibi hava çok güzeldi; sahil parkı gayet canlı ve doluydu. Sahil parkı oldukça büyük olduğu için kendinize rahat edecek bir yer bulmak çok zor değil.

After taking photos, I went back to near my friend. I helped him cooking the remaining meat and chicken. We finished eating, we sat at the coast park and chatted until sunset. When the sun was about to set, I went to the seaside again and took this viewsduring the sunset.

Fotoğraf çektikten sonra tekrar arkadaşımın yanına döndüm. Kalan et ve tavukları pişirmesine yardım ettim. Yemek yedikten sonra gün batımına kadar sahil parkında oturduk, muhabbet ettik. Güneş batmaya yakın tekrar deniz kenarına giderek gün batımında oluşan bu manzaraları çektim.

A wind came up out of the sea and the weather became a little cooler after the sunset. We packed up and set out for home. See you in my next travel or weekend activity post, take care of yourself. All photos in this post belong to me. Thank you for reading.
