Why one and not many? About friends and tokens

(Edited)

The fact that I'm doing pretty good on the POB platform doesn't just make me focus here and forget where I was before it existed. Hive and Leo are also places where I have a very strong identification.

Before POB was released I focused my themes on Leo when it came to subjects he was related to and the others on Hive. And I could see some good yields that allowed me to increase my voting power. And that cheered me up. When POB arrived and I was able to enjoy its beginnings, it allowed me to take all the gains from Hive and Leo and keep it in PowerUp.

As the days went by, I realized that I could keep myself not only in one or two communities, but in several that I could identify myself without having to withdraw part of the profit, keeping the tokens in the community as is the case with CINE (which even I made a purchase of 1,000 CINE and left everything staked), BHT (the broadhive token that I'm also getting all the reward and keeping there), NEOXIAN, and many other small fractions of coins that won't be withdrawn anytime soon, and when I say this, I say at least 5 years if the platform is still around here.

A very important point that encourages me in HIVE and its communities is the great cycle of friends I made, and yes I do speak friends, I don't need to meet in person or have a daily contact to call a friend, but to know the value I have for the person and the value that the person has for me.

Until last year, if I made a publication, I wouldn't have more than 5 comments and all from Brazilians, after all I only knew our click. Today I see people from all over the world commenting on the things I write and that makes me happy and motivates me a lot, seriously, it's not the demagoguery of wanting to be a good guy, it really makes me excited.

There's @offgridlife and @anaclark from Canada, @uwelang and @thatgermandude from Germany (who didn't hesitate to make fun of the 7x1 and Neymar), the @antonym with the wonderful roast that made Brazilians feel had a lot of fun, @marvinix and his gang that I always try to visit the posts (these guys are very excited and always have something new to entertain us), @calumam that I have no idea where it is but I dare say it's USA, same as @lucylin, @allcapsonezero and @trostparadox, @failingforwards from Australia, the great @leprechaun neighbor from south america who resides in Argentina and i believe he is the foreigner with more chance of one day i visit because it is closer. The various Venezuelan users that this yes are a giant group close to the Brazilians. The Brazilians themselves that I think it is not necessary to mark because we interact with each other whenever possible due to the ease of the language.

There are many that I will forget to mention in my head and I apologize in advance for that, but an honor to those who are always present in some way in my publications, I will make a mention at the end of the post.

For me, this is a real engagement, these people are here for HIVE, for the community, you really like it here. I know that money helps, that token earnings are an added incentive, but I feel that most of the ones I'm mentioning are actually wanting the community to grow, it's not just users who came, made a few hundred dollars and went although. These are people who possibly if the Hive gets to be worth $10, or $100, will be the new millionaires on their streets.

I hope that with this post I can give encouragement to those who are not motivated to continue writing and that they can find new ideas to bring to our community. You guys are important to me, and I hope to meet a lot more people.

A big hug to everyone.

I'm sure I missed the location of some, if by chance it happened, show me the correct one so I can fix it. And again, if I interact with you, but I didn't tag you, don't be mad at me, it's 3:35 AM, I have a little flu, I tried to force my memory as much as possible to remember as many as possible.

Cheers, the community is rather amazing, I've made some wonderful friends too down the line and for what it's worth, it's what makes the community what it it. Having different and diverse people all over the world who hadn't met physically share same goal and have a vision. It can be thrilling at times.

Exactly about friendship I wrote the other day because for me friendship is the most important and yes, we can call friends those with whom we interact more, even if we do not meet in real life. The emergence of so many communities and niches invites more activity, and I am now trying to participate in more and it is becoming more and more difficult due to the limited time.
I'm glad to see that you have so many valuable friends, that gives you value too. Let's hope we'll be here in five years to reap the rewards you deserve from your crypto portfolio.

Thank you for your kind words, edystringz. The feeling is likewise. It feels good interacting with our friends from all over the world on pob, wherever they may be from.

I kind of feel that this was the way Hive/Steemit was imagined to be.

Yes, it feels good to me as well.

I kind of feel that this was the way Hive/Steemit was imagined to be.

You could be right, and if you are, then it was the best imagination ever

Thank you for your kind words, edystringz.

You are welcome, sir

It's a nice post with some implicit truths. I can honestly say that here on the web (in a general way) there are the people with whom I talk frequently (in my real life I am not very communicative) ... I maintain a constant interaction more accentuated in recent weeks, after having solved my internet problem. And it is so nice to see how users from different parts of the world are heading in one direction. Being here is definitely one of the best things in my life, because being honest: I produce income, I de-stress, I say and write whatever I want, I meet more people every day ... all this reminds me that despite being something virtual , is something that is an important part of me.

Hello. Thanks for the welcome you gave me for discord, I was looking for the message to respond but I could not find it. Well I am from Venezuela, if this is a great place and where you can find friends everywhere, where there is neither time nor space for communication.

That's something I really love about the specialty tribes. Each has it's own unique community and topic and I've prided myself on holding sizable stake on those platforms in which I engage with and enjoy the most.

Those would be Hive of course as it's to core of it all at the moment.
LeoFinance because I love investing, financial freedom and teach others about finances.
CTP was one I aligned with from my background in business and affiliate marketing and
Proof of brain of course was to me an interesting project right out of the gate to see what it would be like the first days on Hive but also have a cool little twist in there with the "bitcoin" gears in motion.

Each "tribe" I'd much rather call them communities honestly have a core set of users in which you can identify with on a common topic or ground which I feel allows you to make a deeper connection with those people.

Interest to see what continues to evolve from these communities as there really is a wealth of possibilities.
